Like a hen who's affectionate to her hatchlings As she ignores rain, for their safety underneath her wings It's in the same manner with the unselfish individuals Who sacrificed themselves for the needy even if it's fatal.
Your sincere text or call to someone during your nap time Lending monetary help from your savings or allowance Inviting a forlorn friend to a coffee date on your vacant day These are simple gestures of showing love and sympathy.
Giving yourself to someone even if the hurt continues — It's not an act of selflessness, but absurdity. Bestowing kindness for the sake of praise and applause — It's not an act of selflessness, but hypocrisy.
God offers us wisdom to distinguish good from bad Do not share, if later on you will just get mad For He won't look at the quantity nor the value we're given Rather, how wide is our heart we open for our brethren.
