Lord, I am deeply sorry
For seeing at my fellows outwardly
Perceiving it was the upright way
Little did I know, I've shown partiality.Lord, at times I feel guilty
For not listening to the voice inside of me
Following my will and plans; now I'm in danger
Since I'm deceived by their sweet words and stature.Lord, I sincerely apologize
If I was in haste and did not scrutinize
As I desire for myself — honor and popularity
Same as the Dead Sea — my whole being is too salty.Lord, help me to have a sight like yours
Oftentimes I got blinded, let me sense the fanciful
Purify my heart, and help me discern what is noble
Eradicate all the filth — those caused me to stumble.Lord, teach me to look at the person's heart
Grant me discretion so I will not fall apart
Give me sound judgment so I won't wallow in the miry pit
Counsel me, lead me, by the power of Your Holy Spirit.***
"For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
