In this moment of election Many are vying for the position Who desire to rule the nation Even some had petty information.
Families have been disunited Friendships have been cancelled Due to various opinions and beliefs As they're defending their bet candidates.
All are revealing their planned activities Like job applicants who showcase their abilities But some are captivating merely in speech 'Cause when they won, they forgot their promises.
It's sad to know that others just run for personal wants And not for the betterment of their beloved land Some are hungry for fame and power Like an immature, domineering lover.
Jesus exemplified the true meaning of leadership Even if He's the Master, yet He washed the disciples' feet Feeding thousands of people, as well as healing the sick Bearing with compassion, humility and being Spirit-led.
Whoever win, we'll have to pray for our new leaders That they'll listen to the counsel of our Abba Father And will lead the nation with good governance For a real leader shows a heart of good servant.
This isn't the time to point our fingers But letting love and unity linger Like a lion that governs the jungle as king We'll lift them to God to be anointed and strengthened.
