In our planned destination
We need to have a vision
So we can have a motion
And won't stay in one direction.Along with our uncertain journey
Obstruction may appear in our way
Like an amusement park we view nearby
We're tempted to ride or just stop by.As we watch an exciting circus
We tend to lose our focus
Being thrilled by the ones whom we looked our idols
And we miss our uniqueness, imitating their course.Sometimes our sight is quite vague
For we're inconsistent of our faith
Discouraged by the adversities we've met
'Cause we desire a highway — placid and straight. The road may be elongated and rough
Yet we should focus our eyes on Jesus
The pain that we're feeling now will make us tough
And it's nothing compared to the joy, waiting for us.***
"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
