Water lilies grow in the filthy rivers
Cacti propagate amidst wilderness
Orchids germinate with the soil's absence
For God provides their daily sustenance.Misfortunes may prevent us to sprout
Stagnancy may impede us to be stout
Despite of being surrounded by unrighteousness
We should flourish and shed others like water lilies.Series of failures may draw our spirit to dry
Like a rain on a torrid season, causing us to cry
Though we're bombarded by lots of discomfort
We should prosper like cacti in the desert.Frustrations may induce us to drift
In quest for victory in a swift
Even if we're hanging with life's uncertainties
We should proliferate in the air like orchids. The Father placed us in spots — we wanted the least
Yet He desired for us to bloom perfectly with grace
For as long as we remain faithful and rooted in His word
We will thrive like plants all over the world.***
"Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do."
