-Your POV-

"I don't know what you are talking about Steve!" Bucky shouted as I made my way to the kitchen.

"All I'm saying is that you look at Y/N an awful lot, I can tell you like her." Steve teased. I stayed in the hallway hidden behind the door. I know Steve was only teasing Bucky but I couldn't help but wonder if there was some truth in it.

"Oh please... she's no where near my type Steve. You see the girls I bring home, Y/N is nothing like them!" Yeah definitely no truth in Steve's words. I look down at my rounder tummy, my thick thighs, and chunky arms. I'm just the techy with telekinesis to him. The information gatherer. I don't even leave the ship on most missions, just there for technical support. Literally. I swallow the lump in my throat and put on my best fake smile.

"Hey guys!" I cheer half heartedly. Both men go stiff and I can't help but chuckle at them. "What's got you guys so stiff?" Like I don't already know. I go into the fridge to grab something to eat but I look at my stomach and thighs and just decide on a water.

"Oh uh... just on what to eat for lunch. What are you going to eat?" Bucky answered. I rolled my eyes in response as I opened my water.

"Not hungry." I didn't mean to snap but it hurts when your crush sees you the same way you see yourself. "Gunna go train." I take a swig of my water and walk out.

-Bucky's POV-

"I think she heard you." Steve said to me. But I just kept watching her leave. I felt a pain in my chest. She wasn't supposed to hear that. Why did I even say she wasn't my type? Or even refer to the women I've brought home? She's more than my type. I have never met someone so wonderful and beautiful in my entire life.

"What did you two do? My lunch date won't come eat with me." Nat says. I didn't even notice her walk in, I was busy with my own thoughts.

"I didn't do anything." Steve said nudging me. I shot him a glare when Nat crossed her arms over her chest.

"Barnes." She practically growled. To say Nat was protective of Y/N was an understatement. According to Nat, Y/N has had a rough go at things. Friends using her, her being told she was either too skinny or too big, sucky boyfriends and girlfriends, and even comments about her intelligence.

"I j-just said she wasn't my type." I responded.

"And basically compared her to the others you brought home." Steve mumbled. I stomped on his foot.

"WHAT?!" Nat roared. "WHY WOULD YOU EVER DO THAT?! YOU TOLD ME YOU LIKED HER!"

"So you do like her." Steve said.

"APPARENTLY ONLY IN SECRET! ASSHOLE!" Nat then took off in Y/N's direction and that pang in my chest only grew to be more painful.

"Dude..."

"Just shut up Punk."

-Your POV-

I was practicing in the ring with many of the agents. I had my headphones in to drown out their taunts and comments as I took them down one by one. I may be bigger and I don't fight on missions but it doesn't mean that I don't know how to kick some ass.

"You all need to train harder. You talk shit but in the end your mouths will only get you so far." Ignoring the remarks of the few who were butt hurt I see Nat. I make eye contact with her only to put my headphones back in and start to hit the punching bag.

"Would you stop for a second?" Nat had turned off my phone and I groaned in annoyance.

"No. I am not some woe is me girl. I'm fine Nat."
