Loki - We're Just Friends, Remember? - Part 2 - Angst

LOKI'S POV

I have been going insane since that night two months ago. Y/N has made herself scarce to me. She saw me a couple times with a different lay and I could have sworn I saw tears all until I saw her cuddling on the couch with Barnes one day and she seemed to start to feel better. He had been into her since before we started sleeping together and I never liked it. I went to get tea when I saw Barnes kiss her. I squeezed my tea cup so tightly that I broke it. I hissed, noticing I cut my hand.

"L-Loki?" Y/N jumped up and grabbed the first aid kit. She began to pick the glass out of my hand and to bandage me. "Th-There. Better?" She was blushing and refused to look me in the eye. I scoffed and walked away. Why was I angry with her when I had no right to be? I then heard her sniffle and I wanted to turn around but refused and left faster.

YOUR POV

"Doll... I'm so sorry I... I didn't know what I was thinking..." Bucky said.

"I-It's alright, it's better that I know now than to keep hanging on..." I whimpered out. "I h-have a mission to get ready for."

"Squirt are you alright?" Tony asked as we entered the carrier. I met Loki's angry gaze.

"Yeah just fucking peachy." I said through my teeth. Both Loki and Tony looked at me wide eyed. "What?!" I snapped at both of them and they quickly averted their gazes as I got the carrier ready for take off.

"So you and Barnes..." Loki started.

"So you and your whores." I snapped. I was angry that he didn't return my feelings, I was angry that he was so ok with how our friendship was now, and I was just beyond hurt but exhausted from crying.

"They mean nothing to me." Loki said plainly.

"That seems to be the case for everyone you sleep with." I muttered.

"Now hang on just a minute! You are the one that ended things. You are being completely unfair!"

"And what did I end? We are just friends, remember?" Loki closed his mouth tightly and I rolled my eyes. "Now buckle up if you don't want to fly out of the carrier."

After we got back from the mission I stormed straight to my room and locked the door. I didn't want to see anyone, talk to anyone, and I especially didn't want to be around Loki.

"Y/N?" Wanda called from the other side of the door. "Please come out. Are you ok?"

"Please just leave me alone...." I begged through sobs and Wanda sighed and left.

LOKI'S POV

"Ok what the hell happened today?" Wanda storming in.

"Ask Barnes, the two of them seem to be an item." I said. Everyone gave me a confused look, even Barnes.

"We aren't a thing... Doll was down about you being so ok with the arrangement you guys had ending so I was trying to cheer her up, but I shouldn't have kissed her. She was so distraught, especially with how coldly you treated her in the kitchen when she took care of your hand." Barnes said.

"W-What?"

"Are you still playing dumb?" Wanda shouted. "She avoids you when you bring your whores around. How is that not the biggest fucking hint?!"

"Caught her crying on the mission today a couple times. Kid is definitely heart broken." Tony added.

"Are we seriously giving him another list? He obviously doesn't feel the same way about her." Sam said. "He's not intentionally trying to break her heart."
