Stucky x Reader - Lonely Part 4 - Fluff, Angst

"You will only have two hours once you are in there. You need to be careful and do your best to not make this worse. Check your surroundings for clues as to what is keeping her asleep as she may not know herself. It is highly unlikely for that to happen but it is better to be prepared for any possibility." Wanda stated as both men nodded as a form of acknowledgement.

"Emphasis on not making it worse." Loki reiterated sternly. "No close your eyes. It is going to feel like a head rush going in."

When Steve and Bucky opened their eyes, they saw they were in the compound. They looked around to see Y/n staring at another version of them with tears in her eyes. They looked at the other version of themselves completely ignoring and forgetting that Y/n was there. They were cuddling each other and paying attention to each other's wounds. Bucky furrowed his brows, normally Y/n likes to do that, to make sure they are really ok. Bucky looks back to Y/n to see the first aide kit being taken from her hands by some unidentifiable person. Y/n then falls to her knees as the figure then turns into both Steve and Bucky. Bucky nudges Steve to see what he is seeing and Steve's heart shatters and the words coming from the other versions of themselves.

"We don't need you. You aren't enough for us." Steve quickly runs towards Y/n, purely by instinct, and engulfs her into his arms. Bucky was not far behind him, taking both into his.

"Princess they are wrong... please believe me..." Steve whimpered.

"Doll we love you and we are sorry that we caused you so much pain." Bucky added. Bucky looked at her and she wasn't speaking. They weren't reaching her. Dark chains started to wrap around her but neither man let go of her. The other versions of themselves started chuckling as they continued,

"We forgot about you so easily and didn't even notice when you were gone. We kept you around for a good time, nothing more. The apologies are just to keep you around." The other versions of Steve and Bucky stated. Steve whimpered as he looked at Y/n's blank, tear stained face. Bucky was shocked. Was this really what her mind has been telling her all this time? "I mean think about it, only Natasha ever noticed anything happening with you."

"Princess look at me... please..." Steve begged. Steve could feel her slipping away and so he fell to his knees, Bucky shortly followed, and they both hugged her close. "Princess please come back. None of what they are saying is true. I know my word means very little to you right now but please... if anything... please just wake up..."

"Wake up and be happy... no matter what that means for us... we love you Doll... please look at us. Please believe us." Bucky whimpered. "We meant every I love you. We cannot continue on without our best girl. Please."

"You... meant... every... one...?" Tears were streaming down her face as the boys looked at her.

"Yes Princess.... Every single I love you.... Every single date we took you on.... Everything about you means so much to me." Steve's voice broke as he spoke.

"Doll every dance and every night holding you inbetween us calms me. When you aren't there with me I just... I can't understand what's real to me." Bucky stated.

"You both... forgot me..." Y/n hugged herself and began to cry harder. "You forgot me and didn't even notice when I moved out! Why?!" Steve and Bucky looked at each other and sighed.

"Princess we messed up but you have to wake up. Please wake up." Steve begged.

"No... I'm lonely out there..."

"Doll you are also lonely in here... it breaks my heart to see you like this... I know we put you here but please... we promise to never ever let you be lonely again. Even if you just want to be...." Bucky gulped down his tears as he continued. "Friends with us, we will make sure you are never ever alone again."

Bucky opened his eyes to see Steve no longer next to him. He looked up to find Steve sobbing in Y/n's arms as she comforted him. Bucky's eyes teared up as she turned to him and smiled.

"Welcome back Buck." Her voice was raspy from being unconscious for so long.

"Doll..." he whispered under his breath. He leapt from his spot and joined the embrace.

"You two smell like you haven't showered in weeks." She mumbled.

"Speak for yourself." Bucky chuckled out.

"Welcome back." Loki mumbled.

"Thank you for making them wake me up." She states to Loki and Wanda. Loki just rolls his eyes.

"I didn't do it for you... having no one to talk about this stupid book with was bugging me..." Loki stated without looking at Y/n.

"Admit it... you missed me." Y/n said cheekily before Loki smirked and rolled his eyes. Bucky kept feathering kisses onto Y/n's forehead. Everyone else left the room.

"Now that I am showered..." Y/n starts before Steve and Bucky look at each other nervously. "We should talk..."

"Princess before you say anything.... Please let us take care of you... whatever you decide... we..." Steve then continues to get emotional.

"I want to stay together...." Y/n states firmly and yet sweetly. "Doctor Strange says that I cannot be off of bedrest anytime soon so..." Bucky captures Y/n's lips and as soon as that kiss ends Steve does the same.

"Doll we love you and we promise we will do better at showing you that." Bucky states.

"We promise Princess... you will never feel lonely again."
