Tony - I Love You - Fluff

"FRIDAY what is today?" Tony asked the A.I. as he kept tinkering with his suit.

"I was told to remind you that today is Y/N's birthday. Reservations had been made a week ago by you and you bought a present 3 months ago." FRIDAY responded. Tony stopped tinkering. It was well into the afternoon seeing as he worked all morning.

"God I'm a genius." He said proud of himself. He smiled brightly. "FRIDAY tell everyone that Y/N and I are off the rest of the day."

"Will do sir." FRIDAY responded. Tony then walked down to the common area and smiled brightly as he saw Y/N doing dishes. Her hair was in a messy bun, she had on her reading glasses, she was wearing her favorite pj pants that were well worn and one of Tony's shirts. He got behind her and snaked his arms around her waist.

"Why is the birthday girl doing dishes?" She smiled as she continued to wash them. Tony rested his chin on her shoulder.

"Because the team made me pancakes and let me have breakfast in bed. Which was surprisingly empty on your side." She said kissing Tony on the cheek. Tony in turn kissed the crook of her neck.

"Well I canceled work all day today for both of us. You get me the entirety of the day. And lucky for you, I'm a delight." She chuckled as Tony took over doing the dishes for her. She laughed, drying her hands.

"And so humble." She said with a laugh. She looked at Tony and was smiling like an idiot. "Tony Stark doing the dishes. Who knew." She couldn't help but tease him a little. He rolled his eyes as he dried his hands. He lifted her onto the counter and captured her lips.

"I have a wonderful day of relaxation planned for you and I. We will watch whatever movies or shows you want. Lunch is from our favorite pizza place." She giggled as he continued. "Then I got reservations at the restaurant where we met, not to mention a perfect gift for you."

"Tony the restaurant where we met is expensive and..."

"Let me spoil you. Besides, you were an undercover agent last time we were there. I want you to actually enjoy the wine and food." She rolled her eyes and chuckled. "You are an avenger and not only that, you are the sweetest being on this planet and let nobody ever spoil you. Which honestly is starting to feel like a personal attack. So I'm demanding you to be spoiled on your birthday."

"Alright Tony... you win." She then yelped as Tony slung her over his shoulder and made way to their penthouse. Once there a dress was delivered to her and she was about to protest but Tony didn't give her the chance to as he kissed her tenderly, which always made her melt. They watched Grey's Anatomy most of the day. She started from episode one, ultimately getting Tony hooked onto the show.

"Ok so wait... what just happened?" Y/N started snickering at Tony's enthrallment. "No way! McDreamy is McCheater?! He's married?!"

"It's more complicated than that Tony." Tony looks at her like she is defending Derek Shepherd. "He should have told Meredith he was married, absolutely! And he should have told her the whole truth. Just watch the next episode."

"There can't be a way that this was ok.... Aaaaaaahhhhhh so Addison cheated on Derek." Y/N rested her head on Tony's chest and hummed in content. "Still don't see how that makes this better."

"I love you Tony." Tony stiffened in surprise and Y/N sat up quickly. Her face is bright red and eyes wide. Tony smiled at her. Tony has said those three words multiple times but understood how guarded and nervous Y/N was about saying them. Tony pushed her down onto the couch and then hovered over her. "N-N-Now hold on."

"Say it again or I will be forced to punish you. Though that punishment would be enjoyable for both of us, I'ld rather hear you say those words again." Tony smirked as she giggled.

"I love you." Tony placed a hand over his heart and gave her a look that was so full of happiness that you would think it was the greatest thing he has ever heard in his life.

"I love you too." Tony then captured her lips, pouring all of his love into it. She did the same thing as she entangled her fingers in his hair. Tony then pulled her into his lap and they cuddled, continuing to watch their show. Pepper eventually brought up their pizza and even had a gift for Y/N herself. It was a beautiful yet simple sapphire necklace.

"Peps I can't accept this, it's too much." Y/N said with tears brimming her eyes.

"Nonsense! I insist! Besides it will match your dress for tonight." Pepper and her hugged and as she walked out she shouted back, "Plus it doesn't hurt that your boyfriend pays me well." Y/N giggled when she sensed Tony rolling his eyes.

"Come eat your food birthday girl. We have more Grey's Anatomy to watch." Tony says.

"Next year I'm gunna have to show you Supernatural."

"Ooooo what's that?" Tony looked intrigued as Y/N just smiled taking her plate of pizza.

"One show at a time babe."

Y/N was blow drying her hair while in her bathrobe. She didn't want any water spots to be on the blue dress Tony got her. She then began to curl her hair while Tony leaned in the doorway just watching her.

"You know most people would find your constant staring creepy." Y/N giggled. "I don't mind it, though there is not much to look at with me just curling my hair."

"Every move you make is down right gorgeous. I can't help but watch you. I love every piece of you." Y/N blushed and continued what she was doing.

"I l-love you too." Tony smiled kissing her cheek as he went to get out his matching suit for dinner tonight. She smiled in content. She did her make up the way she always does, because that's how Tony likes her as well as the fact that that's all she knows how to do. She put on the silver and sapphire necklace from Pepper and the silver shoes and the sapphire blue dress. She then starts looking through her jewelry box, grabbing her mother's silver bracelet and putting it on. She smiled and kept looking through to find earrings to match. But all her earrings were gone.

"I promise to give you back your earrings but I was kind of hoping you would wear these." Tony holds out his gift to Y/N. He had his usual cocky grin on his face as she took the tiny box. She unwrapped it and gasped at the elegant sapphire earrings.

"Tony I..."

"I know you aren't super big on the material things and the dress, shoes, and such was a lot. I knew you wouldn't accept the necklace even if it didn't come from Pepper so I thought I would give you the earrings since you always have a pair on."

"Tony the necklace was from you too?" Y/N kept smiling with tears in her eyes as Tony nodded, clearing his throat. "I love it... and you." She quickly put the earrings on and jumped into Tony's embrace.

"You really like it?" Tony asked.

"Yes. I love everything. Especially the man I am spending my birthday with." She took hold of Tony's lips with her own. Tony pulled her closer to him, getting lost in the kiss with the most amazing woman.

"We better go before I decide to cancel the reservation all together and just devour you." Tony groaned, reluctantly breaking the kiss. Y/N only nodded, smiling like an idiot.

"I love you."
