Loki - How Could You Do This To Me? Part 1 - Angst

"Loki... please tell me you're kidding..." She said angrily with tears streaming down her cheeks. "Loki we are married now with a child and you bring up this 6 years later and for what?!"

"I w-wanted to be honest with you... I could tell you were still upset about the situation and..." Loki started but was interrupted by Y/n picking up her glass and turning around to chuck it at the wall behind her. It shattered as she started screaming in pain.

"FUCK YOU LOKI! WHAT THE HELL?! FOR SIX YEARS YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE TREATED ME LIKE THE CRAZY JEALOUS SPOUSE WHEN I WAS FUCKING RIGHT THE WHOLE TIME?! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!" Loki didn't have an answer and she just grabbed her coat and left.

"Sigyn please just tell her the truth. That we didn't sleep together. That yes I lead you on while Y/n and I were dating and we fooled around but nothing more than that." Loki begged. It has been weeks since his confession of overlap and nothing he said to his wife made her believe him. Sigyn sighed.

"Say she believes me Loki. Say she takes my word. Do you really think that will make what we did better? I knew about her even though you didn't say anything. I tried to break you both up and you did nothing to stop me. We let everyone think she was insane. You don't just get over it because you have all the answers..." Loki gave Sigyn a pleading look. "She's just gunna dump you anyway. Might as well sleep with me and be with me." With that Loki stormed off, wanting nothing to do with Sigyn. He should have known how this would have turned out but he had to try something to show his wife that he was being honest now.

"Child you still are so sad. Has something happened?" Frigga asked. Y/n shook her head and smiled as her daughter crawled over to her. Y/n told Sif, Brunnhilde, and vented a little to the few that knew the situation back then as they were witnesses to it. She felt guilty for crying and venting but she really didn't know what to do here. "Is this about what Loki confessed?"

"He told you huh?" Y/n said in the sweetest tone possible to not let her daughter know anything was amiss.

"Yes he is very distraught for what he has done." Frigga said. "But you are the one hurt here my child. It's ok to not be strong and it's ok to rely on others so you can work things out." Y/N's daughter cooed happily and smiled.

"Ok."

"Where's the baby?" Loki asked as his wife returned home childless.

"With our mothers so we can properly fight about this."

"Darling I don't want to fight..."

"Well I fucking do. I have every fucking right to be pissed about this and I'm fucking going to be." Loki saw the tears streaming down her face and fists clenched at her sides. "Was it fucking worth it? To treat me this way?"

"No... No Darling it wasn't." Loki teared up and for once she didn't care that he was crying.

"You lied to me."

"I did."

"You and many others treated me like I was crazy."

"Yes."

"And you only tell the truth when you think I won't leave you!"

"Darling please..."

"And you expect me to believe that you didn't fuck Sigyn! The girl I wasn't supposed to be worried about?!" Loki squeezed his eyes shut. "WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME?! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!"

"I'm being honest here... you got suspicious and everyone had it out for me already... So I never told the truth to anyone... I should never have done this to you my love. I regret it deeply and..."

"Then why wait until now?!" Y/n looked so hurt and Loki did this to her. His heart was filled with regret.

"Because I knew you'd leave..." Y/N's eyes widened. She never imagined Loki being so open and honest.

"So you just..."

"So I just... just waited. I originally planned on never telling you but... I looked at our daughter and realized that how I have treated her mother is not how I would want her to be treated. I want to set a better example. I want to be honest with you. I want us to work this out." Loki looked at his wife with pleading eyes. She collapsed to her knees and cried. Loki knelt down in front of her.

"It hurts so bad! I don't get it! I know why but I just still don't get it!" She gripped her chest as if she was trying to claw out her heart. "Give it back! Give me back my heart! I gave you everything and... and... OH GOD!" She sobbed louder. She couldn't stop it.

"My love..." Loki reached his hand out towards her but she hits it away.

"YOU DON'T LOVE ME!" She roared. "You never have! You don't do this to someone you love..."

"Y/N..."

"I am glad that you at least love our daughter..." She then walked away and used her own magic to create a place to sleep in her daughter's room, locking the door behind her.
