she reminds herself. she closes her eyes when she feels the sponge pressing against her skin. hyejin sits stiffly against the leather chair as she lets sejeong do her make up.

"i've never been this nervous for a competition before," hyejin says. she feels the sponge moving away from her face, so she opens her eyes again. she watches as sejeong puts down the sponge, taking out an eyebrow pencil.

"of course you are," sighs sejeong, "it's your last dance competition," she says, "it's important."

"i know," hyejin sniffs. when sejeong was done with hyejin's brows, she puts it down, reaching for a setting powder, as to not melt her make up while she was on stage. "i just hope one of the company choses me."

"you don't even have to worry," sejeong reassures, "all of them would want you."

"you think so?" hyejin smiles, "even 1Mil?"

"of course. yah, but why are you aiming for such a small company?" questions sejeong as she switches the powder for an eyeshadow palette. "there are a ton of bigger company watching you, but why 1Million?"

sejeong was right, but ever since Hyejin had came across their youtube video a year ago, she had made a goal to join the company. of course she couldn't join now, since they uploaded dance videos on youtube, and her biggest fear was being caught by her parents.

speaking of her parents, she has yet to talk to them about this. this was her last year in the academy, and if a company actually wants her, she would do anything to get in. her parents wants her to go to university, but that isn't part of hyejin's plan.

she wasn't sure if they would allow her, seeing as how strict her parents were, but you'll never know if you never try, right?

"they have potential," hyejin answers, "i know that they're going to be big one day."

even if they were a small group, they had talented dancers. hyejin had read the requirements from the company, anyone could join, but it would be a bigger deal if they wanted her specifically to join their company.

sejeong nods, "i get what you mean. as your friend, i do wish you get into 1M, although, i really think you will," she smiles, "you're so talented, you don't need to be nervous."

hyejin just hopes that everything will go according to plan. she felt her phone buzzing in her lap, she flips it to see the notification.
