hyejin had been going for dance religiously for the past week. it was tiring, but she doesn't have much to do, since daeun and jungwoo has been busy with their own things. she would ask jaehyun, but she hasn't seen him for a while now.

not even in the academy.

she had waited for him at the academy for a week, but he never came out. it was either he stopped going for practice, or he was avoiding her. hyejin didn't want to apologize over text because she had given him a hard time, and texting didn't seem sincere enough.

but if jaehyun has been skipping classes, then she was worried for him. since he only joined this year, he was most probably being graded around this time, for a company to want him, he would need to attend the classes regularly.

hyejin sighs, taking a break from dancing as she heads to the back of the room to where her bag was. she pulls out her phone and her wallet, before she leaves the room to go up to the 5th level.

she needs some sugar in her body for her to think properly. she puts in a coin, pressing the buttons for a strawberry snack. hyejin turns to the translucent door that held the singing students, her thoughts going back to jaehyun.

hyejin sighs, bending down to pick up the snack from the vending machine. just as she was about to walk away, she hears a familiar voice coming out of the 5th floor bathroom. hyejin's eyes widen, as she turns around and locks eyes with the boy she has been waiting for the past week.

the girl tightens the grip on the snack as she confidently walks up to the boy, or, boys for this matter.

"jaehyun," hyejin croaks out, looking up at the boy, "can we talk?"

hyejin watches as jaehyun turns to his friend, telling them to go in first. his friend nods, entering the room, before jaehyun grabs hyejin's wrist, dragging her to the other door, right next to the other one. he pushes through the black glass door, then another, and then they were in a studio room.

hyejin didn't know that they had a recording room.

jaehyun pulls open the door to the recording room, bringing her inside. it was a small room, seeing as how it was meant to only fit one person during recording.

hyejin leans against the wall, jaehyun stands before her, his back facing the mic in the small space. she felt so small, physically and mentally, seeing as how jaehyun was towering over her, and her eyes were directly met with his broad clothed chest.

"what did you want to talk about?" jaehyun asks, he was so close, hyejin could feel his breathe hitting her forehead.

it was dark. she could barely make out his features. only a faint yellow light hitting the top of his cheek bones, but that was it. his dark orbs were shining in the dark, which seemed a lot more scary than it is.

"h-have you been avoiding me?" hyejin stutters out, getting nervous from the close proximity. "i've been waiting for you out here the whole week, and you never came out. have you been skipping classes?" hyejin musters the courage to look up at the boy.

both answer would still hurt hyejin no matter what, so it doesn't matter what he says.

"what's your point, hyejin?"

something about the way he said her name prickled her heart.

hyejin bites her lips nervously, "i wanted to say i'm sorry," hyejin says, waiting for a response, but it never came, so she continues, "you weren't the one who told my parents. they found out through youtube, my dance teacher posted a video of us dancing, and they saw it."
