Chapter 4

EREN'S POV

I narrowed my eyes at Y/n as she was laughing while looking at her phone. "What are you laughing about?" I asked.

"Nothing" Y/n signed. "Y/n no phones at the diner table" Dad said. Y/n put her pone to the side and continued eating.

Y/n's phone kept ringing with notifications and she looked at her phone and again. I looked at her phone to see a text from someone named Falco.

"Who's Falco?" I asked. "No one" Y/n signed. "Y/n" Dad said while holding his hand out to her for the phone.

She shook her head while frowning. "Give him the phone" I said. I grabbed the phone but she held onto it.

"M'm!" I hummed while trying to get her phone back. "No!" I said while continuing to yank it.

"Stop!" Dad said while glaring at us. Y/n frowned at me and snatched her phone away then ran out of the dining room.

Y/N'S POV

I went to my room and locked the door. Then went to my closet and closed the door. I called Ymir and of course she picked up.

"Hey Y/n what's up?" She said. "Eren is what's up! he's so annoying!" I whisper yelled. "Oh no tell me" Ymir said.

I set my phone up on one of the shelves. "I was on my phone during dinner then he got me in trouble! he's so weird you know! I was just texting Falco a-" Ymir cut me off.

"Falco? haha who's that?" Ymir asked. "Oh he's a kid I met at headquarters" I said. "Oooooh" Ymir said.

"What?" I said in confusion. "Ah you really are innocent..." Ymir said. "Okay. Well he told me that he was going to the park with his friends and he told me I could bring you I mean if you want to go" I said.

"Yeah I want to meet this kid and his friends I guess" Ymir said. "Well... all I have to do is convince my dad to let me go" I said.

I waited a while then went downstairs to my dads study. I knocked on the door. "Who is it?" Dad asked.

I just stayed silent. "I'm guessing it's Y/n then. you can come in" Dad said. I went inside and sat down in the chair in front of his desk.

"Can I go... to the park with Ymir, Falco, and his friends please" I signed. "Okay" He said. "What?" I signed.

"You can go but when is it?" He asked. "Um on.... on Friday..." I signed. "Um well your Aunt uncle and cousin are coming over on Saturday so make sure it's only on Friday" He said.

I nodded while smiling. "WHAT!!?" I heard someone yell from the other side of the door. "Eren you can come in..." Dad sighed.

Eren opened the door while narrowing his eyes at dad. "No! why are they coming over!?" Eren said.

"For thanksgiving and Christmas we haven't seen them in a few years" Dad said. "A video call is enough!" Eren said.

"No it's not!" I signed. "Right it's time to start meeting up with our family again Zeke, Dina, and your grandparents are coming on the day before thanksgiving" Dad said.

"I think I'll take Zeke instead😒" Eren said. "Come on! we seriously need more life in this household! I miss mom's snacks! after she went to into that coma all the spice in our life evaporated! now all we have is... well you I mean at least dad developed some of moms vibe" I signed. (Ugh I don't care about what anyone says! Carla is a Hispanic woman!😒)

"What? how am I not like cool or whatever?" Eren said. "Really? I mean you seem like a trumpie" I signed. (YA'LL DON'T ATTACK ME IN THE COMMENTS!! PLEASE!! I'M JOKING!!💀)

"Seriously!?" Eren said. "I'm trying to work you know" Dad said. "Okay see you! thank you!" I signed before leaving."

"Also who's Falco?" Eren asked. "It's just someone you don't know them okay" I signed before heading to the stairs.

I stopped hallway up the stairs and grabbed Eren's arm. "Can you carry me to my room I'm so tired!" I signed.

"No because I'm a trumpie" Eren said while narrowing his eyes at me. I groan then ran as fast as I could up the stairs.

"Armin would" I said. "What ever" He said. "And Mikasa! And Ymir! and Historia! and SASHA! AND CONNIE!! AND JEAN!!!" I signed.

He glared at me so I stopped and went to my room. 'Woah almost died just there' I thought. I told Ymir and Falco I could go to the park and laid down on my bed.

After a while of scrolling on tiktok I peeked outside my room to hear laughing downstairs so to see the Ackermans.

"Oh Y/n! we were just coming to get you!" Mikasa's mom said. "Where are we going?" I signed. "To a restaurant" Eren said.

I frowned. "With Mark Zuckerberg again?😒" I signed. "No we hate him" Mikasa said. "What? but you guys act so nice to him" I signed.

"Well Y/n when you get into business when your older you'll under stand that you have to keep a status or people like Mark will make really um well bad tweets about you" Mikasa's Mom said.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "So um yeah we should go!" Mikasa's dad said. We left and got to the restaurant.

"Guys make sure you know what you're gonna order" Dad said. "I'm getting a burrito" Mikasa said.

"Eren?" Dad said. "I'm getting a burger" Eren said. Everyone looked at him and rose their eyebrows. (By the way my friend did this at a Mexican restaurant sadly she is Hispanic and did this💀)

"Trumpie" I signed. "Are you kidding me? Come on dad say something about this!" Eren said. "Eren you should order something else you know" Dad said.

"Wha- come on what about you guys" Eren said. Mikasa's parents just stared at him while trying not to smile.

"Um well your a character Eren" Mikasa's dad said. "Mikasa?" Eren said. "Well..." Mikasa said. Everyone looked at Mikasa.

"I'm sorry Eren" Mikasa said in defeat. He narrowed his eyes at us. "Fine I'll order something else" Eren grumbled.

Soon we got our food after ordering and I also got candy from the waitress. "Ugh I haven't had candy since I was 12...." Eren groaned.

I glanced at him. "If only there were someone to give me candy!" Eren said. I rolled my eyes gave him some candy.

"Oh look candy!" Eren said. Dad sighed. "Hmm I wish I had a sibling" Mikasa said while looking at her parents .

"Mikasa the death rate for older women giving birth is higher than you think!" Mikasa's mom said.

"I have Y/n though" Mikasa said while smiling. I smiled. Soon we ended up leaving he restaurant but not after our parents kept talking to people for like an hour.

"Hey Mikasa I'm going the park on Friday with Ymir and a boy named Falco with his friends" I signed.

"Oh" Mikasa said while glancing at Eren. "Does he know?" Mikasa asked. I shook my head. "Well all you have to do is act normal you know!" Mikasa said.

"Hmm okay!" I signed. "I'm scared Eren will find out I mean he's being weird! and he got mad when he found out our cousins and aunt and uncle were coming over!" I signed.

"Well Eren is just... he just has a hard time realizing that he needs to let you have what you want I guess..." Mikasa said.

"Hmmm okay I just don't get why though... it's not even like he hasn't always been like this...." I signed.

"I don't understand it either but you should also be grateful for it too... it could save you one day" Mikasa said.

I nodded. "He still annoys me" I signed. "What are you guys talking about?" Eren asked. "Nothing" I signed.

"Mikasa?" Eren said. "Just your cousin" Mikasa said while smiling. Eren gave us a weird look and went on his phone.

"Nice save" I signed. "I tried so hard to not tell him..." Mikasa said eyes wide. "Oh yeah I could tell" I said.
