Chapter 52

We were in the car on our way to the restaurant. "I'm so hungry" Cameron said. "Well we're n our way to get food" Eren said. 

"Actually when you get to the restaurant you have to order then wait like 100 hours for food" Mina said. 

"That's an exaggeration" Aunt Ciara said. "It's true" Cameron said. "We're here now everyone be respectful okay" Uncle Jose said. 

"Do you guys remember that one time Zeke threw a menu at that waiter" I signed. "Oh yeah!" Eren said. 

"Why did he do that in the first place?" Zack asked. "He called me an idiot" Zeke said. "Did you even get in trouble for that?" Mina asked.

"It wasn't even really my fault so they just told me I wasn't allowed back for like 3 months" Zeke said. 

"Of course" Cameron said. When we got to the restaurant a waiter guided us to our table and we sat down. 

When we sat down Zack left and went to talk to the workers. "What is he doing?" I signed. "Probably plotting against me" Cameron said. 

"Aren't you?" I signed. "No!..... maybe......" Cameron said. We got our drinks but obviously I was still hungry. 

"Y/n don't drink all of that or you wont finish your food" Dad said. "She will trust me" Eren said. "Good you need room for some proteins" Grandma Marina said. 

"I finished my drink" I signed. "Well we can wait till the waiter comes back around" Aunt Ciara said.

I took Cameron's Cameron's drink and started drinking it. Cameron slowly turned and looked at me.

"What are you doing!?" He said. "Drinking" I signed. "My drink!?" He said. "You weren't even drinking it anyway" I signed. 

"I was waiting for the food!" Cameron said. "Oh well you can wait till the waiter comes" I signed. I looked to see Eren glaring at Cameron.

Not even a second later the cup literally evaporated from my hands. 'What?' I thought. Cameron moved his cup to the other side of him so I couldn't reach it. 

"Wait till the waiter is here..." Cameron said while patting my head. The waiter came back and I asked for a drink and they came back with it soon. 

Some breadsticks came and not even a second later they were all gone. "This is the best breadstick I've ever tasted!" Mina said. 

Everyone agreed except me! the only person without one. Zeke looked at me then then held out the other half of his breadstick from across the table.

I smiled and took it. "Woah Zeke make a good deed!" Cameron said. "Speed dial" Zeke said while holding his phone up. 

"Oh my gosh! Zeke you are an amazing brother!" Cameron said. "Mhm that's what I thought you said" Zeke mumbled. 

I was so happy when the food then finally came. I had never picked up a fork so fast. I happily chowed down all of the food on my plate but I still wasn't full. 

"Y/n how did you finish your food so soon!?" Grandpa Nino asked. "With the power of necromancy!" I signed. 

"You know I met a lady once....." Grandpa Fred said. "Absolutely not! do not mention a word about that" Grandma Mae said

"About what?" Aunt Ciara asked. "Nothing!" Grandpa Fred said. "Hmmm...." Aunt Ciara hummed while squinting at them.

Then a waiter came and put a small cake in front of Mina. "Is it her birthday?" I signed. "No if it was she probably would've screamed it" Cameron said while looking at her suspiciously.

"What's this?" Mina asked in confusion. "Can I have everyone's attention!" Zack said while standing up. 

"What is he doing?" Aunt Ciara asked. "You see didn't I say he was a little like mental" Cameron said. 

"This is my girlfriend Mina the first time I met her was at my office because she was there for a job interview. After working together for a while Mina asked me for dinner and now since then we've been together but the one thing we did when we started dating was put on this timer and currently we've been dating for 3 years 5 months and 6 days but I don't want it to just be 3 years" Zack said. 

"Wait a minute" Cameron muttered while sitting up eyes wide. "Amina Castillo-Montanez will you marry me?" Zack said after presenting her with a ring. 

"NO!!" Cameron yelled in pain. "YES!!!" Mina yelled happily. Everyone sheered happily. I think this is the first time I had ever seen Grandma Mae and Aunt Ciara crying.

"Oh my gosh even Cameron's crying" Uncle Jose said. Yeah but those weren't tears of joy. When we got home everyone was obviously happy. 

CAMERON'S POV

Before bed I went into the room where Zack and Mina were staying and laid down on the bed. "Oh hi Cameron" Zack said. 

"Hello..." I said straight faced. "What are you doing?" He asked. "I'm gonna sleep here tonight" I said while crossing my arms. 

"Oh okay that's fine" He said. I rose my eyebrow. 'How is he so unfazed by this!?' I thought. Mina came and rose her eyebrow. 

"What is he doing here?" Mina asked. "Um apparently he want to sleep here" Zack said. "Oh Mina said while siting down next to me. 

"Are you gonna like murder him!?" Mina whispered to me. "No... not yet" I said. "Hmm?" Zack hummed. 

"Nothing" I said. Y/n ran in and jumped on the bed. "You too?" Mina asked. Y/n nodded happily. We all got in the bed and Zack turned to me. 

"Cameron is something wrong?" He asked. "No" I said. 'Yes dumbass' I thought. "Are you sure I mean you seem upset about something" He said. 

"Oh well I'm just tired! big day" I said. "Oh okay well if anything is wrong" He said. "Mhm okay" I said. 

I turned to see Y/n quickly close her eyes. "I know you're awake" I whispered. She looked at me and rose her eyebrows at me. 

"You lied to him" Y/n signed. "I didn't" I said. "You did though" Y/n signed. "Go to sleep its past your bed time!" I said while pulling the sheets over her head.
