"Okay so first we go and ask to use the bathroom and since you told me the path way out of here we just have to run and use these as defense" I said while holding my fork up.

"What!? these are highly trained individuals!" Kai said. "They're also stupid they let me have my bag but they don't know I have my phone because I put it in my pocket before I got taken" I said.

"Does it work?" He asked. "No service here but I know I can call someone as soon as we get out of here" I said.

"Great but how do you suggest we fight off grown men and women?" He asked. "We're smaller we can dodge them" I said.

"Oh true..." He said. "Also if they have weapons we can steal them and use them" I said. "Oh wow we're gonna die" Kai said in a hopeless tone.

The lights turned on and another person came into the room and put a tray of food down. "What happened to the forks?" They asked.

"Good morning to you too?" Kai said. "What happened to them?" They asked. "We don't know? maybe it fell when who ever took it" Kai said.

They just left and slammed the door behind them. "The people here are rude" I said. "Mhm but at least they close the door behind them" Kai said.

"True" I said. "Well might as well eat before we die" Kai said. "We aren't gonna die" I said. "Okay... maybe just you" He said.

"Yeah right" I said. We started eating and I heard the Camera move. "It does that in the morning because it adjusts itself at night" Kai said.

"No don't you think it looks a bit weird I mean closer than it was yesterday?" I asked. "Your being paranoid you just want to get out of here right?" He asked.

I nodded. "We can start soon closer to noon would be better because it might take a while to get out and when we do it'll be night so then they won't find us easily in the dark" Kai said.

"Do you know the time?" I asked. "No but I know that at noon they give us lunch" He said. "Do they give us things to do in the mean while?" I asked.

"They got me a Nintendo once but they took it back when I found out how to use the internet on it but don't get too excited they gave it to me so I would eat because I refused to eat for days" Kai said.

"Wow that's how much they wanted you to live?" I asked. "Wanted? needed" Kai said. 'So I guess they really do need us to live...' I thought.

After a while they did give us food which meant it was noon. "Let's ask now" I whispered. Just as the door was about to be shut Kai slid through the opening.

"Can we go to use the bathroom please?" He asked. The person gave Kai an annoyed look. "Okay" They said before motioning to the guards.

I took my bag and just I was about to leave the guard stopped me. "What do you need that for?" He asked.

I just stayed silent and looked at him eyes wide. "What do you need the bag for?" The guard asked in annoyed tone.

"Since you really want to know the peony flower bloomed" Kai said while smiling. "What?" the guard said.

"She's on her period😐" Kai said. "Oh... let's go" The guard said. "What is that?" I signed. "Wow you really don't know anything... don't worry about it... yet" He said.

As soon as we got to the bathroom as the guard was taking his keys out I hit him on the head as hard as I could knocking him out.

"Oh so we weren't gonna use this?" He asked while holding the fork up. "Yeah but don't we need a key card right?" I asked.

"Um yeah but you can have the fork..." Kai said before taking the guards taser. "Wow can you even use that?" I asked.

"You wanna test that theory?" He asked. "No thanks" I said while quickly taking the key card. "Okay I know the way so just quickly follow me from my experience they're sending people our way now..." He said.

I followed him and after heading through a bunch of hallways we finally saw people looking for us.

"This way" He said while leading me to another door. I swiped the key card but it then it started ringing.

"We only have 10 swipes left they put a limit they know it's missing we have to take a short cut" he said.

"What is this place!? not a house right?" I said. "No this is a facility where they keep things and people illegally obviously the name Marz is short for Marley they do this all for one person but I never met him or really saw him..." Kai said.

"Really saw him?" I asked. "Well I know it's a man because they were talking to him but I only heard a male voice... it could've been a women with a deep voice but I don't think so" Kai said.

"There that's the exit!" Kai said while pointing at the door. "Where do you think you two are going!?"

We turned to see a group of people with guns and tasers. "We're leaving!" I signed. "You're not going anywhere" The lady said.

"Kalani! you know what's best if you came back now! we'll only give you a light punishment! but you! you need to learn a lesson come back and you'll only get a week of solitary confinement!" The lady yelled.

"Y/n..." Kalani said. I shook my head. "Let's go" I whispered. "We won't even make it out the front yard" He said.

I looked around and grabbed the nearest bowl of water and threw it on the floor. "What th-" The lady yelled.

I immediately used the keycard to leave then grabbed Kai and started running. "Y/n! what did you just do!?" He yelled.

"Help you escape!" I said. My eyes widened when we started to hear gun shots. "Kalani pay attention to everything around you so we can tell the authorities the clues to get here!" I said.

We kept running as fast as we could. We ended up getting to a road eventually and there were only trees around the area.

Kai took a branch and wrote something in the dirt then took more sticks and tuck them in the dirt.

"So we know where it is and hopefully see it when we get the police" Kai said. I sighed. "I think... I think I know where we are I'll check our location" I said.

I took out my phone and my eyes widened. "We're 40 minutes away from where I live!" I said. "What state is this?" He asked.

"Huh? California" I said. "Oh thank god" He said. "Yeah I thought this was another state too..." I said.

"Let's go w-we can catch a bus I have 20 dollars" I said. He nodded. We quickly continued watching and by the time we got to the nearest town it was 9 pm.

We stayed at the bus stop and immediately got on the bus when it arrived. We got on and sat down and I started to not feel well.

"I hope we get to my house soon my family will help you" I said. He smiled. "Thanks Y/n..." He said while smiling.

"I just did what anyone else who wanted to escape would do..." I said.
