Chapter 39

I opened my eyes and sat up to see Cameron just on his phone. "Prisoner to your phone" I said. He narrowed his eyes at me.

"And you?" He asked. "What about me?" I said. "You were clutching your phone through out the night!" Cameron said.

"No I wasn't!" I said. "Yeah you were" He said. I narrowed my eyes at him. "Okay let's get breakfast" I said while getting up.

We went downstairs and headed to the kitchen. "I made eggs!" Grandma Marina said. We went to take eggs but she stopped us.

'Oh we starve🙂' I thought. "Here I got two these so special for you two" She said while patting our heads.

I looked to see she got us Starbucks. "Wow I'm nothing to you?" Dad said. "No but these two need some strength" Grandma Marina said.

I took it and went to the living room. "Hey let's watch something" Cameron said. Then someone snatched the remote.

"Sorry guys first come first serve" Zeke said. I glared at him. "Aw are you mad? go cry" Zeke said. "remember when da-" Eren came out of no where and grabbed my hands.

"Absolutely not we don't ever mention that ever" Eren said. "Mention what?" Zeke asked. "Nothing" Eren said.

Zeke just shrugged and put the TV on CNN. 'The news😑' I thought. "Cameron how come you didn't sleep in the guest room?" Zack asked.

"He never does" Aunt Ciara said. "Why would I it's boring I have to sleep if I do" Cameron said. "You still have to sleep if you don't sleep in the guest room" Uncle Jose said.

"Yeah but I get to sleep later" Cameron said. "When did you guys go to sleep last night?" Aunt Ciara asked.

"1 am" I signed. "When you two get insomnia don't look at me" Aunt Ciara said. "That'll never happen I'm always super quiet and everything while sleeping" Cameron said.

I rose my eyebrow. 'Does he not know he sleep talks?' I thought. Everyone was watching the news even though it's boring.

"Why are you guys watching this?" I signed. "Because it's informative" Dad said. "So?" I signed. "Well you'll have to learn certain things in the world" Grandpa Fred said.

"Can we change it?" I signed. "I'm sorry do you want us to put on the Teletubbies for you?" Zeke asked.

I frowned and continued eating. After I finished eating Cameron and I went outside in front of the house.

"I used to have a tree house in front of my house" Cameron said. "Well not everyone can be you" I said.

"Just saying" Cameron said. "Why can't I look your brother in the eye?" I asked. "Because he's from New York and newyorkers get threatened by everything especially if you look them in the eye! it's equivalent to looking a gorilla in the eyes one look and you're done" Cameron said.

"Done?" I said. "Yeah done" He said. "Hey kids" We looked to see a man inside a red car. "Hello" Cameron said.

"You guys look lonely you wanna drive?" He asked. "Do you have snickers?" Cameron asked. "Maybe" The man said.

"Every time my mom says that it means no so have a good day sir" Cameron said. The man sighed.

"You know how about we drive to get some snickers" The man said. "You do realize there are like 10 people inside this house right?" Cameron said.

"Oh really because I don't see them" The man said. Cameron just rose his eyebrow. The man glared at us.

"Okay fine" The man said before driving away. "Is he gonna come back?" I asked. "If he does I'll call the police" Cameron said.

"There's so many people trying to do that now" I said. "Oh yeah totally I mean some old guys followed me all the way home my mom yelled at him though" Cameron said.

"Yeah but it happens like everyday for me" I said. "Oh well you're younger than me so obviously" Cameron said.

I frowned. "It's fine just be careful and don't go anything alone" Cameron said. I nodded. "What are you guys doing?"

We looked to see Zeke. "Now as you can tell that's a kidnapper" Cameron said. "You guys need to come inside" Zeke said.

I fell down and didn't move. "Y/n get up" Zeke said. I sighed and stood up then walked over to the door.

"Are you gonna kidnap me?" I signed. "What? get inside" Zeke said while pushing me inside the house.

"You know Zeke you should cut that beard and maybe you wouldn't look 50" Cameron said. "Well you should grow a few inches and maybe you wouldn't be 5'0" Zeke said.

"I'm not!" Cameron said. "Oh I must be too tall to notice" Zeke said. "I'm glad that we technically aren't even related" Cameron said.

"Sucks for me" I signed. We upstairs and I headed to Eren room. "Where are you going?" Cameron asked.

"Eren's room I want something from there we have to be in and out quick though" I said. "Why?" Cameron asked.

"You don't want to know" I said. "What are you looking for?" He asked. "My hairbrush he took it he always does" I said.

I started looking around but stopped when I hear footsteps. "He's coming" I said. "Wait you can tell who the person is by footsteps too?" Cameron said.

"The closet" I said. We went into the closet and I hid behind some clothes. I heard Eren come into the room and we went to the door and peeked to see him just go on his bed.

"Let's just go" Cameron said. I shook my head eyes wide. "Hide" I said. "Okay" Cameron said. I hid behind some clothes and I'm not sure where Cameron hid.

Eventually it was a while so Cameron came over to where I was. "Can we just go" He asked. "No I'll stay here till the end of time if I have to" I signed.

"What are you so afraid of?" He asked. "If Eren finds me run" I said. Then we heard footsteps heading to the closet. Cameron went back to his hiding spot and Eren came into the closet.

Eren went near where I was and started looking around. Then he went and started moving his hand around on the floor.

I moved when his hand went near me. I stopped when he stayed still for a second then was about to move the clothes where I was but Zeke called him so he left.

"Let's go" I said. We went out of the room and when we were walking out Zeke looked at us. "Listen Zeke we love you" I signed.

"Yeah okay I won't tell him" Zeke said. "Wait actually?" Cameron said. "No I don't even really care I don't get anything out of it" Zeke said.

I rose my eyebrow. "So he would tell if he got something out of it?" I signed. "I'm not even surprised at this point" Cameron said.
