Chapter 40

I sat up and looked to see Cameron was sleeping. I looked at my phone to see the time was 3:00 am.

I got out of bed then went out of my room and looked around. 'I think everyone is sleeping' I thought.

I went downstairs and got some water and sat down at the dinner table. "How come you're awake?"

I looked to see Eren. "I just woke up" I signed. "Oh and now you're drinking water! you never do that" Eren said before sitting down next to me.

"Well I feel dehydrated" I signed. "Probably because you only drink soda" Eren said. I just rolled my eyes.

"How come you're awake?" I signed. "Because I woke up" Eren said. "Exactly" I signed. "So are you scared of Zack" Eren asked.

I shook my head. "Yeah right we visibly saw you hide from him" Eren said. "So!?" I signed. "You're scared of everything for no reason" Eren said.

"If you were me you would understand that I can't just talk to anyone" I signed. "Well you're gonna have to" Eren said.

I shook my head. "Yes it's gonna happen eventually" Eren said. I frowned. "But don't worry you can just go outside today because it's snowing" Eren said.

I looked out the window. "Can I go out now?" I signed. "So you can get hypothermia" Eren said. "I'm going back to sleep" I signed.

"Wait one more question" Eren asked. I rose my eyebrow. "Did you go into my room?" Eren asked.

I looked to the side and shook my head. "Liar" Eren said. I ran up upstairs and I hid in my room but eventually fell asleep.

I felt myself wake up when heard a loud thump. I looked over the edge of the bed to see Cameron on the floor.

"What happened?" I asked. "What does it look like happened?😐" Cameron asked. "You fell" I said.

"Wow you're so smart have a cookie!" Cameron said. "What did I do?" I asked. "Nothing it's just because it's 7 am in the morning" Cameron said.

"It's snowing you know so we can go outside today" I said. He looked out the window. "Maybe I can get a free pass of throwing something at my brother" Cameron said.

"Same but then Zeke is gonna throw a huge chunk of snow at me but Eren will literally body slam me" I said.

"Wow" Cameron said. "Let's get ready to go outside" I said. I went and put on my jacket and snow boots.

I went out of my room and ran downstairs. "I think everyone is sleeping" I said before going to open the front door.

"Hey guys" We looked to see Zeke. "What?" Cameron said. "Oh yeah you guys were the last to wake up but yeah everyone's outside" Zeke said before opening the door and going outside.

We went outside to see everyone was already there. "Oh wow" Cameron said. I went and made a snow ball then threw it at Eren.

He narrowed his eyes at me. "I thought you said he would body slam you" Cameron said. "When everyone isn't looking" I whispered.

"Now Zeke on the other hand" I whispered before throwing a snowball at him. Zeke turned then started making a huge snowball.

"Wait you're not gonna run?" Cameron asked. "Wait" I signed. I ran next to Dad then went behind him when Zeke threw the snowball.

"ZEKE!!" Dad yelled. "I was aiming for Y/n" Zeke said. "Really because I don't see her here" Dad said.

I gave Zeke an evil smile and he looked at me straight faced. "You will pay" Zeke said. I just kept smiling.

"That was a mistake" Cameron said. "It was worth it" I signed. "So are you guys having fun?" Zack asked.

I hid behind Cameron. "Aren't you supposed to be with your girlfriend or Eren?" Cameron asked. "Oh well they're with grandma making hot chocolate" He said.

"Oh well then do you want to help us build a snowman?" Cameron asked. "Sure" Zack said. "Your brother is nice though are you sure he's evil?" I whispered.

"That's his cover he'll show his true form soon" Cameron said while getting more snow. "So Y/n you don't talk much do you?" Zack said.

I looked at Cameron for help. "Y/n has selective mutism" Cameron said. "Really? I remember you were always pretty loud" Zack said.

"Not anymore I guess" I signed. Zack laughed and Cameron and I exchanged looks. "You know sign language?" Cameron asked.

"Well yeah mom taught me when I was younger" Zack said. "Oh of course..." Cameron said. I blinked at them.

We continued making the snowman. "I swear next morning this snow man will be gone and you know why" Cameron said.

"He'll eat it?" I signed. "If you look out the window you'll know" Cameron said. "Know what?" Zack asked.

"Nothing" Cameron said. 'Why would he eat the snow man🤨' I thought.
