Chapter 66

CAMERON'S POV

It was 1 am at night and I was feeling like I wanted some snickers so I went downstairs. I went to the kitchen and stopped when I saw Zack.

'I'll just get the snickers and run' I thought. As soon as I went to get the snickers I saw that the last one was gone.

'No...' I thought. "Cameron lets talk" Zack said. "No never I'm going to the store don't tell mom" I said.

"Why would you do that when I have snickers right here" Zack said. My eyes widened and I went to take it but he moved it away.

"Let's talk" He said. "Then snickers?" I asked. "Yeah" He said. I sat down and Zack sat down next to me.

"Cameron I just don't understand what did you mean when you said that I just get everything" Zack said.

"Are you dumb? I meant what I said everything just comes to you!" I said. "Is that why you called me privileged" Zack asked.

"Yeah" I said. "You are too!" He said. "No I'm not! not like you at least I mean you're perfect! everyone loves you! I mean even my parents love you more than me!" I said.

"I'm literally such a burden to them! I mean imagine having to be told to eat like you're 4! Every time I even cough or sneeze my parents think I'm dying! No wonder they love you so much they don't have to worry about you as much as me!" I said.

"Cameron it's not all sunshine and rainbows you have no idea how hard it is to please our grandparents and let alone all of the adults here. The only reason I act like this is because of my dad you have no idea how strict he is I came here and mom was a blessing compared to him" Zack yelled.

"I want to be you" I said. "So this is why you hate me?" He asked. "How can you blame me? you're better than me!" I yelled.

I frowned. "You're no different from me Cameron! I love you" Zack said while hugging me. "I love you too" I said.

I pulled away from the hug and gave him a suspicious look. "Did you try to touch my hair?" I asked.

"Maybe" Zack said. We heard foot steps and looked to see Mom. I immediately stood up. "You guys are being too loud what's wrong" She asked.

"He took my snickers" I said. "Zack he needs it" Mom said. Zack handed me he snickers and I happily took it.

"Make sure you guys go to bed!" Mom said. Mom went into the kitchen and I turned to Zack. "We keep this moment under wraps we respect each other I can't let Mina know she won" I said.

"Okay" Zack said while smiling. "Mhm" I said. "Did I tell you guys to go to sleep" Mom said. "You said to make sure to go to bed!" I said.

"Cameron" She said. "Yes mother" I said.

Y/N'S POV

It was late in the middle of the night and I still couldn't sleep alone so I went to Jeans room and even though I wasn't alone I still felt nervous and couldn't sleep.

"Y/n are you okay?" Jean asked. "I can't sleep" I signed. "Why not?" He asked. "I miss my family but I'm too scared to go back..." I signed.

"You don't have to if you don't want to" Jean said. "Do you think it' selfish to not go back?" I signed.

"How?" He asked. "Because I still have everyone else at home" I signed. "Y/n I'm sure they'll understand you don't have to worry" Jean said.

I frowned and laid down. Soon I fell asleep and when I woke up I heard voices down stairs. I slowly went down stairs then peeked to see who it was.

JEAN'S POV

'What the hell is he doing here he never comes here' I thought. "So?" Eren asked. "No I haven't seen her" I said.

Eren looked inside. "What are those?" He asked while pointing at the shoes. I looked and my eyes widened for a second when I saw Y/n's shoes.

"Um I have a girl over leave" I said. "Your girl wear size 3-4 converse shoes?" Eren asked while crossing his arms.

"Um..." I said. "You know Jean can I take a look around" Eren asked. "No" I said. "Oh okay thanks" Eren said while pushing pass me.

'Wow' I thought. I texted Y/n and Eren gave me a suspicious look. "Who are you texting?" He asked.

"Mikasa" I said. "Shut up idiot" He said while pushing my shoulder. Eren went up stairs and I followed him.

He started walking then stopped at the room where Y/n was staying. "Don't she's sleeping in there" I said.

"Shut up Jean you get none" Eren said before opening the door. He looked and then closed the door.

"There's no one there I'm leaving" He said. "Didn't I say so" I said. I stopped when I heard rapid footstep downstairs and Eren went to go but I blocked the way.

"What th- is she here?" He asked. "Did you really think I would tell you she was here" I asked. "Move!" He said while going past me.

Y/N'S POV

I ran to the backdoor and looked to see Eren and Jean around the corner. I tried to open the door but it was locked then stopped when I saw a doggy door.

'At this point I have no choice' I thought. I put my bag through then started to crawl through but then someone grabbed me.

I got away and stopped when Eren yelled my name. "Y/n just come back I'm sorry" Eren said. I frowned and got up then started running away.

I stopped at a store and sat down. "Hey kid" I looked up to see a boy that looked around his teens went up to me.

"This you?" He asked while holding up his phone and showing me a photo of myself. I looked to the side then ran out of the shop.

'At this point if I see that photo again I'm just gonna disappear because it's getting me in trouble...' I thought.

I stopped when my phone started blowing up with notifications from everyone. 'A lot of trouble...' I thought.
