"Okay so I know thanksgiving wasn't the best due to um current events but we are going to actually sit here and say nice things about each other because the tension last night was crazy" Grandma Marina said.

*FLASH BACK*

AUTHOR'S POV

"You know this is all your fault" Grandma Marina said to Grandma Mae. "It's my fault someone yelled at another person!?" Grandma Mae said.

"Yes!" Grandma Marina said. "Okay well now that doesn't even make any sense" Grandpa Fred said.

"Shut up stop trying to be the good guy Fred!" Grandpa Nino said. "Being a good Samaritan is wrong now!?" Grandpa Fred said.

"What is going on?" Eren said. "You know it's good to finally see everyone speaking their minds" Zeke said.

"Zeke shut the hell up" Eren said. "Don't curse at your brother Eren" Grisha said. "What the hell is everyone arguing about!?" Aunt Ciara yelled.

"Honestly like what is going on!? one thing happened and all of a sudden it's all about this and that like shut up so we can all figure out what is happening!"

"I agree with that statement" Dave said. "I'm sorry to say this but absolutely no one cares" Dina said.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

Y/N'S POV

"Okay it wasn't that bad" Uncle Jose said. "That's because you didn't yell at anyone" Aunt Ciara said.

"So what are we going to be doing?" I signed. "Well we're going to have fun as a family but first we're going to tell each other EXACTLY how we feel! no more secret okay!" Grandma Marina said.

We all agreed. "I think I'll go first" Grandma Mae said. "Well you see I don't hate Marina I just feel like if she attacks me I have to attack back so I don't seem well weak" Grandma Mae said.

"Hmm I share the same feeling it's just that I feel like I have to attack first so I don't get hurt" Grandma Marina said.

"I'll go next, Well I feel like everyone is the same you know I just want everyone to be happy" Grandpa Fred said.

"I do too I feel like I need to help people choose their paths" Grandpa Nino said. "Grisha?" Grandma Marina said.

"Me well there's nothing much too it I'm gonna say something if I don't like you and I just want everyone to be happy" Dad said.

"I'll go then, I think everyone should be able to say their own opinions even if it's wrong but if it is wrong that doesn't stop anyone else from hating on you" Dina said.

"Ciara? Joseph?" Grandma Mae said. "I'll go, I just want people to be able to say what they want to when they want to so I agree with Dina" Aunt Ciara said.

"I just want everyone to be happy and be nice to each other in their own way while doing it" Uncle Jose said.

"Eren Zeke?" Grandma Marina said. "I don't really care you just better be a good person" Zeke said.

Eren rolled his eyes. "Well I don't really care that much just don't be rude to the people I like my family and friends oh and I don't exactly get along with some of the people in this room" Eren said.

"I'll go next, I want everyone to like me but I don't exactly care anymore I just want everyone to be nice so I'll be nice too" Cameron said.

"Y/n" Grandma Marina said. I shrugged. "Really Y/n just tell us one thing okay" Grandpa Nino said.

"I don't have much to share to be honest" I signed. "Come on just tell us the little you have to share" Grandma Mae said.

"Okay well... I just want everyone else to be happy and that's it and right now everyone else seems happy so I am too" I signed.

"Really that's it?" Zeke said. "Yeah that's it" I signed. "That's what you told me yesterday" Cameron said.

"Yes so you know I'm not lying!" I signed. "I guess that's all to it" Uncle Jose said. "Really Y/n that's nice" Aunt Ciara said.

I just nodded and fiddled with my fingers. "Why don't we go outside and have a cook out you know it'll be fun we can get fresh air" Uncle Jose said.

We all agreed and went out into the backyard. I sat near the pool and peeked over the edge. I felt someone push me and I almost fell in.

I looked and narrowed my eyes at Zeke before moving away from the edge. "Whoopsie" Zeke said.

"Trying to kill people" Cameron said. "Nah I was joking... or was I" Zeke said. "Should I call the police?" Eren said while raising his eyebrow.

"Eren" Dad said while narrowing his eyes at him. "I was joking" Eren said. "Or were you" I signed.

"Stop trying to get me in trouble" Eren said. "Whoops sorry" I signed. "So since we were outside what exactly happened yesterday before we left" Cameron asked.

"Oh everyone started fighting" Zeke said. "It was actually pretty bad to be honest but it was fine I mean after we went into the living room and calmed down" Eren said.

"Oh good thing no one threw anything" I signed. "Almost" Zeke said. "I honestly wouldn't be surprised I mean I had a lamp thrown at me once" Cameron said.

"I had a bottle of sprite thrown at me guess who had to clean it up😐" I signed. "You deserved it" Eren said.

"Are you kidding? All I did was throw a ball at you as a joke" I signed. "And I threw sprite at you as a joke" Eren said.

I rolled my eyes. "But your always mad at me right?" Zeke said. "That's not even true we're happy then you make us upset" Cameron said.

"How all I do is breathe and you guys hate me" Zeke said. "Your literally one of the biggest smart Alec's and we don't even hate you" Eren said.

"I know your not talking" Zeke said. "Come on guys food is ready!" Grandma Marina called. We immediately got up and ran over.

I got a hot dog fries and a burger then sat down while smiling. I was about to start eating but Grandma Mae stopped me.

"Wait for everyone else so we can do grace" Grandma Mae said. I frowned and waited for everyone to sit down.

As soon as we finished the prayer I started eating. (I'm so hungry I'm gonna get some food right now💀)

I stopped when Zeke grabbed my burger and put mustard in it. "What are you doing!?" I signed. "I'm not doing anything see your burger is better now" Zeke said.

"No one puts mustard on their burger" Eren said. "I do" Cameron said. "Well your weird so" I signed.

"Wow I see how it is" He said. "Your parents words not mine" I signed. "You know since I'm leaving in two days we should have a sleep over on the last day" Cameron said.

"Yeah and we can watch movies and stuff" I signed. "What are you guys like 5" Zeke said. "Your just mad you're not invited" I signed.

"I'm inviting Mikasa and Armin for support" Eren said. "Support for what?" Zeke said. "Being with you" Eren said.

Zeke rolled his eyes. "You still have to see me though" Zeke said. "Says who?" I signed. "I have the luxury of living in a different city" Cameron said.

"I can still come for you" Zeke said. Cameron scooted away from Zeke. "I got 911 on speed dial" Cameron said.

"I got every child kidnapper on speed dial" Zeke said. "It would be funny if I told your mom" I signed.

"My mom does not care trust me" Zeke said. "He's not wrong I mean my guy is in the major league his mom could not care less he's bringing bank" I signed.

"That's right" Zeke said. Eren rolled his eyes. "You wish you were me" Zeke said. "An ass?" Eren said.

"No cursing!" Dad called. "Yeah Eren" Zeke said. "So immature" I signed.
