Chapter 27

I felt someone wake me up and I looked to see Eren, Mikasa, and Armin. "What time is it?" I signed.

"3 am! don't you remember what's today?" Mikasa asked. "Um no?" I signed. "The day you get to find out who gets the part!" Eren said. 

"For what?" I signed. "THE NUTCRAKER!!" They yelled. I got up and nearly fell off the bed. They left the room and I went to quickly take a shower and got ready then grabbed my bag of things. 

I slid down the railing of the stairs and ran to the kitchen. "I made you an egg sandwich and bacon!" Armin said while putting the plate in front of me. 

I took it then started eating it. After I finished it we went to the car and they started driving me to the studio. 

"Are you nervous?" Mikasa asked. I nodded. "Don't be you're gonna do amazing okay!" Mikasa said while patting my head. 

I smiled and we arrived at the studio and then I went in. I headed to the changing rooms and changed into my ballet attire. 

"Are you ready?" Ymir asked me. I nodded. " Today practice is gonna be longer" Ymir said. "Probably because they're gonna make the people auditioning do the rehearsal then after like 30 minutes of discussion they'll tell us who's gonna be the lead" Ymir said. 

"I hope I get it" One of the other girls said. "Me too" The other one said. "I don't care who does they just better be good" Another said. 

"Yeah I just want this show to be fun and really good it's on the 24-26! so I'm pretty excited to see who it is and start rehearing next time!" A girl said. 

I gave Ymir a nervous smile. Out of the many girls in my class there were about 15 girls or even more auditioning for the part. 

We were waiting outside the room. "I'm so so nervous!!" Myra a girl in my class said. "Uh huh I think I'm gonna throw up!" Dina said. 

"If I make a mistake I'm gonna die!" Aya said while burying her face in her hands. "So Y/n are you nervous?" Kara asked me. 

I nodded "I feel kind of sick!" I signed.. "No need I'm sure you'll get the part!" She said while smiling. 

Kara was one of the only people in my class who knew sign language. It was because her younger sister was deaf so she took classes jut for her.

"What are you talking about? if anyone wouldn't get the part it's her! She's deaf!" Ana said while crossing her arms. 

I rose my eyebrow. "Um Ana she's not dea-" Ana cut Kara off. "But he is she uses a notebook or sign language to talk!" Ana said. 

"If I'm being honest she probably thinks she's better than all of us I mean she's basically famous!" Ana said. 

"Ana she can hear you and also that was really rude you shouldn't judge others!" Carmen said. "Yeah if you actually payed attention to someone other than yourself you would know that she has selective mutism!" Dina said. 

"Selective what? did you just make that up?" Ana said. "I'm sorry do you read anything other than teen vogue?" Myra said. 

"She only talks to specific people you're not one of them" Kara said. "Oh really then watch this!" Ana said before clapping in front of me. 

I moved back and she stopped. "You can actually hear?" She said. I just frowned at her. "See she's rude she didn't even like write anything to me or sign!" Ana said. 

"Ana nobody cares because if I were her I  would've slapped you" Miriam said. "You know what I don't care!! I'm gonna do the best! then I'm gonna do way better than ALL of you!! and when I get that part you'll regret it!!" Ana yelled at everyone. 

"Okay what ever you say😐🤨" I signed. She clenched her fists and glared at me. "I DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!!" She yelled before turning around. 

Soon I was one person away from the door and Ana went up to the door fixed up her hair and turned to us. 

"I'm gonna win you idiots" She said before putting on a fake smile and going into the room. After 15 minutes she came out with a big smile and stopped right next to me. 

"Good luck you god damn mime" She said before walking away. I rose my eyebrow at her then took a deep breath before walking into the room. 

"Contestant #10! Y/n Yeager!" One of the judges said. "Do you remember the rehearsal?" The other judge asked. 

I nodded while smiling. "Alright Y/n you can start now good luck!" Carole said while giving me a thumbs up. 

I did the the rehearsal completely and they kept writing things and watching the whole time. "Okay Y/n thank you for your time! you are dismissed!" The judge said. 

I went out and the girls gave me a thumbs up but Ana just glared at me. After everyone finished auditioning the judges were discussing in the room. 

They called everyone in my class in and the one auditioning for the lead were made to stand in line. 

"There's been a tie! so If I call your name please step forward!" Lara said. Ana's eyes widened for a second and she narrowed her eyes. 

"Ana Hargrove!" Lara said. People started clapping  as she stepped forward. "And Y/n Yeager!" Lara said. 

People started clapping more when I stepped forward. "Today's final judge will be extended!" One of the judges said. 

Some people groaned. I looked over at Ana to see she was looking at me eyes wide and clenching her fists in anger. 

"Everyone is dismissed for now except for Ana but Y/n you will need to wait outside!" Carole said. 

I waited outside for 20 minutes then Ana came out. "You'll never beat me! what they made me do in there was way to hard for you!" She yelled at me. 

I blinked then walked pass her and went into the room. "Y/n do you remember the dance we made everyone do to see your progress?" The judge asked. 

I nodded. "We need you to do that one okay it doesn't matter how much you remember it just do it" The other judge said. 

I nodded. I started to do the dance even though I was nervous then as I was doing it they cut me off in the middle of it. 

"That's enough Y/n you can wait outside of the room!" The judge said. I furrowed my eyebrows then nodded. 

I left and Ana narrowed her eyes at me. After 20 minutes they called everyone in. "If you even have ANY HOPE THAT YOU WON!! get that out of your head!" Ana said. 

We all went back inside. "After think long and hard about our decision! we've finally decided who we were gonna choose!" The judge said. 

Ana smiled and took a deep breath. "We have selected Y/n Yeager for the lead of he nutcracker!" Carole said while smiling. 

Ana looked at me eyes wide. Everyone started screaming and ran up to me. "Y/N!! Y/N!! YOU GOT THE PART OH MY GOD!!!" Ymir yelled. 

"Everyone today instead of rehearsing the rest of the day we're having an after party!" Lara said. Everyone cheered happily while Ana crossed her arms and gave me a death glare.

The parents and everyone else was allowed to come so Dad came for it. "I knew you could do it!" Mikasa said. 

"All that hard work payed off huh" Eren said. "Not to brag but I helped her the most!" Armin said. 

"Armin please" Dad said. "Y/n go get yourself food you must be hungry!" Mikasa said. I went and got something to drink and some food.

I smiled and some people congratulated me. "Hey Y/n" I heard Ana say. I felt a shiver go down my spine as I turned around.

Then I felt someone grab my hair.
