"Soobin, can I please head out to the lake this weekend?" I asked.

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because why?"

"Because I said no," he says, annoyed, turning around.

"You're so mean you never let me do anything anymore," I pouted.

"You have school to focus on, and besides, it's hunting season. If anything happens to you, I can't go out and save you. The traps are already set in the woods, so please don't be reckless, " he says, fixing himself.

"Fine," I said.

"One day I will take you to the lake, and we will do all the fun stupid stuff we used to," he says, hugging me.

"You said that last year," I whined.

"I know." he lets go and leaves laughing.

How rude of you, Soobin. We never do anything anymore.

When did you become so boring? I walked out of his house in the middle of nowhere and walked down the path to his house, my house. This part of the woods is off limits for people since its private property, but hunters still set traps here.

I walked off the path and turned to the direction of the lake.

"Don't even think about it," Soobin said.

"Hmph." I turned back and walked back to the house. He pulled me to him roughly and shook his head.

"This was how close you were," he said, sticking a branch in the steel bear trap. It snapped shut, and he grins at me.

"Stop that. I know already, jeez, " I said.

He looked around, growled.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Huh, nothing come," he said, pulling me behind him.
