Nabi's pov
"Soobin, stay with me. The others are almost here, " I cried.
"Nabi"
"Yuji?" I asked.
"Here, move back," she says.
"Why are you helping me?" Soobin asked.
"Because I'm not your enemy here, but those hunters are, and they all heard you howl. They're headed this way right now, " she said.
She pulled back on the bear trap and broke it. How many drugs is she on?
SoBa screamed in pain in my arms and almost nearly shifted in my arms but didn't.
"Ahh, thanks and al, but you need to leave right now. My family are on their way, and not all of them like you, " he said.
"He's right, Yuji. We do appreciate you helping, but it's not safe for you to stay, " I added.
"She's right," that's Yeonjun's voice. Where did he go before? Why didn't he help?
"I'll see you at school. Stay out of the woods the both of you, " she says before leaving. Yeonjun leaves with her. What the hell is going on with those two?
"Argh," Soobin grunts out.
Leaves ruffled with the sound of footprints, and we're surrounded by his family.
"What happened? Who did that? s" his father asks after shifting.
"It was the traps set in the woods by the hunters," I said.
"We don't have much time they're on the way here as we speak," Soobin said.
His mother howle, and I helped him onto her back. I climbed on his dad's back, and it felt weird because only Soobin had ever carried me. We made our way home, and by the time we arrived, he was already almost healed.
I got off of dad's back and helped Soobin inside. I sat him down as his mother readied her things to bandage his wound.
"You two are not to go off in the woods like that again. If you fight, then just go to your rooms, but running off recklessly like that could've cost one of your lives, " dad said.
"Soobin for us, it's easy to heal like nothing, but if this was her.... her leg would've been broken. Those things penetrate the bone immobilizing whatever is caught, " his mother said.
"For now, I'll take her to the edge of the woods for school. You need to rest and keep off that leg, " his dad says.
"Is it okay if I have a moment alone to talk with Soobin?" I asked. They look at each other and leave. Silence surrounded us. What do I even say to him? He's injured because of me.
