Soobin's pov
"Soobin, I'm sorry this happened to you. I just don't get it. What did I do to make you run off like that?" She asked.
"Nothing. I was just upset, and I took it out on you. I didn't mean what I said before I ran off. You were never my problem, " he said.
"Then who is?" She asked.
"Listen, what happened today with those two helping me don't mention any of it to mom or dad got it?" I say in a low voice.
She looked shocked but agreed.
* Time skip
Nabi's pov
In just two days, Soobin had fully healed. Not a single scar on his leg. He was back to his old self. But......
"Again," he said.
"Soobin, is this really necessary?" I say while out of breath.
"Yes," he said.
I swung my fist at him and threw some kicks, but he blocked all of them. I fell to the floor and felt like I was being beaten up from myself.
"You need to learn how to protect yourself. I won't always be there for you, " he said.
"Fi-" I was cut off by screams that Soobin detected.
"Shhh," he hushed me.
"HELP! SOME PLEASE HELP!" Soobin ran in that direction, and I followed him.
"Nabi, stay behind me. Are you guys alright?" He asked the two strangers.
"No, we're not hunters attacked our pack last night. Yuna and I are the only two who survived, but she needs help, or she's going to die," the boy said.
"She's already lost so much blood," Soobin said. Soobin seemed disturbed by something but focused stronger on the matter at hand.
"Nabi, help him lift her onto me," he said and shifted.
The boy and I lift her up carefully onto Soobin's back, and she grips his fur coat tightly.
"He's going to get help for you, okay? I'll be right behind you," the boy says.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Niki," he said.
"Soobin, you know what to do," I say, and he runs off, leaving heavy prints for me to follow back to the house.
"Let's go," I say, wrapping my arm around his waste as his arm is on my shoulder. I help him walk, making sure not to put pressure on his open wound.
Why would hunters just attack his pack like that?
