Nabi's Reign

My body turned cold as ice. I could no longer feel the tethers of our bond. I died, and yet I'm still here. I hear the world around me see flashing images of every ones lives, and then I felt it. All the secrets, the laws, the crimes, the hate, everything from the beginning of time explained. I felt him once more. His pulse as I see before me all those times I was lost alone or afraid Yeonjun was always watching out for me in the shadows. His heartbeat is the only tether that remains because he can't turn that off. So, along with his mine beats as well. I'm dead now, and yet I'm still alive. I bright yellow beaming light falls before me with an image of myself. The day I was born, the day my parents died, and the day my memory came back to me like a storm in the cold air of night. I was born in some sort of river. A woman was there with Soobin's and Yeonjun's parents. Three children were born in that river. Those same children stand with each other during a time of war. Is this some sort of prophecy that was set in stone? The images before me burst into embers, and suddenly, I felt my soul pulling me back in the world of the living. I gasp for air as my head reaches the surface of the water, and I am no longer drowning in memories and stories. 

I lift myself up off the floor and see my own brother hurting. I transformed before him as he watched me.

"Now it's your turn, Nabi." 

Indeed it is.

Heesung pounces as Yeonjun as I pounce back.

I knocked him down before he could even land a blow. I heard everyone around us gasp, and I unlock the other prison cells to all of the supernatural creatures the hunters have caught. They wish to expose this world to everyone without knowing that he is the reason my parents are dead. He caused all those victims' pain and suffering. He doesn't even care if his own sister is in pain. He doesn't even realize she isn't even on his side.

This is my fight, and it always has been, so I won't let anyone interfere. I use my power that's been dorment all these years to lock everyone here tonight in a cage. I bind together the hands of the gaurdians and chain Winter off to the side. 

"You really plan to take me on all by yourself?" He laughs.

"I'm the prophecy child, right? It's my duty to serve for my kind against abominations like you. Your parents committed a great crime to us all, and they should've ended your life and hers, " I said.

"Someone's finally all caught up to speed, but you are still not stronger than me,"  He says.

"We'll see," I challenged.

"Nabi"

"Stay out of this Yeonjun, you've done enough controlling my life, and so I will be taking it all back," 

His presence leaves my head, and I can feel how hurt he was by those words.

Heesung shifts into his wolf form and charges at me but doesn't even last before I could send him flying backward. 

"How is that possible?" Winter questions.

"I wasn't just turned into a Vampire because of Yeonjun, but a wolf on the behalf of being nipped by Soobin shortly after what happened to my family, and a guardian from being born in their river" I say.

"You nipped her?" Yeonjun asked.

"I had to in order to talk to her in wolf form and warn her of any dangers without others hearing," SoBa says.

"Do you understand now why you are no match for me?" I asked.

This question only made him mad as he pursued me once again. I lower the protections and shift as well. I take on all fours and lung forward at him. I can feel Yeonjun's worry and let him out of the prison. He makes his advance and aids me against Heesung. Without leaving a single opening for him to defend or slip in an attack, we continuously lay down the blows. He has no advantage here, and he knew it would be this way. That's why he needed the baby. That little gem isn't just any baby. That's my family. I will not lose anyone else I love or care about to these damn creatures. I land the final blow on him, and that howl that was heard the other day echoes through the room, so I use my power to shield everyone from its impact. The only one who is affected is Winter, and it causes her to lose her vision and her hearing. A spell placed on her breaks off, and she lays there in pain.

"Nabi, you did it -"

I send Yeonjun flying back with my power and shift to my human form.

"You killed my parents. You lied to me all these years. You committed to one of the greatest crimes in all of the supernatural realms history, and you took away my memories, " I say.

"Nabi I -AGGHHH!"

"You killed your blood bond," 

"You told her you would always love her no matter what happens, and yet you killed her."

I crushed down on his heart with my powers and watched as he choked on his own blood. 

I thought he loved me. I thought he cared, but now I can tell he never did.

"NABI, STOP IT WASN'T HIS FAULT IT WAS MINE. ONLY MINE I TOLD HIM TO LEAVE, I TOLD HIM TO TAKE AWAY YOUR MEMORIES, I TOLD HIM TO STAY AWAY FROM YOU ALL THOSE YEARS AGO!" Soobin shouts, clinging to the cage.

"I know," I said. 

He looks at me with hurt eyes that I would kill my own bond and not even blink.

He breaks loose of the cage and tackles me to the ground, breaking my hold on Yeonjun.

"You both need to step away from her,"Jake said.

"It's happening, isn't it?" Yeonjun asked.

"Nabi's reign has begun. All creatures of the supernatural realm will be here in this town any minute now to stand at her side, for they have now acknowledged her has the queen of our realm, " Jake said.

"Can't we stop it?" Soobin asked.

"Yeonjun, you visited her in her sleep and left her a message, right? What did you tell her?" He asked.

"I know how to stop this," he said, and I stood up using my power to take him down, but Jake beat me to it and held me still with a weak Lia and a wounded Chae.

Yeonjun stands before me and smiles.

"Let me show you how true those words were, Nabi," He says. The wolves began to harmonize, and his eye's glow one red with the other blue his bright yellow hair appeared through the black strands, and he sank his teeth into my neck.

I could feel the tethers coming back to life and reconnecting as I felt my own heart, beat again. Beating in sync with his. I can hear his thoughts and feel his emotions. I can hear his voice playing on in my head. I can feel his breath caressing my body with his love and admiration for me. Suddenly, I can remember again why it was always him. Why I always wanted him. Why I can put my own life in his hands and be content. He was the last person I loved before I died.

This is no longer a Blood Bond it's a Sire Bond. I'm Sired to him. Sired To Yeonjun.

An: HEHEH! You see what I did there. The next chapter is the last one, guys. I is so happy. Sorry enough, baby talk. What do you guys think? I had a hard time finishing this story, but here we are getting ready to approach the final chapter. I am so excited to announce that I have many other works that are ready to be released, and I may even work on multiple at once. I will be including what they are at the end of the book, so stay tuned.
