compulsion

Yeonjun's pov

"Stay with me," I said. She stopped and stood there, meaning I was right. I do have a blood bond to her. I can only compel the one I'm bonded to. This also means if my parents turn her, she'll be stronger than us.

"What's bothering you, Nabi?" I asked.

"My brother had said something to me earlier, but I can't remember what it was," She says.

"Why dont we walk the river and relax? You ran into me pretty hard there," I say, holding her hand tighter.

She nods yes and walks next to me. I know she's after him, but I can't leave her to wander out here with traps everywhere. Once her pulse picked up, I felt it and came looking for her.

"Yeonjun, why were you out here?" She asked.

"I like to stroll through the woods when I want to get away from my family," I said. Though I lied, I had my reasons for doing so. I don't think he told her about us and what I am. Her blood smells so sweet I want it, but I can not have it without her letting me in first.

It's like how vampires can't go in someone's home without being invited in. I can't drink her blood freely until she allows it.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"Um sorta my shoulder still hurts from when I ran into you," she says.

"Sorry," I say.

She laughs at me and pushes me back.

I tripped and fell, which made her laugh more.

"Don't laugh," I say, trying to resist her.

"Why do you look adorable?" She says.

I tripped her, making her fall next to me, and we both laughed.

"No fair," she pouts.

"You started it," I say.

*howls*

SOOBIN!

*gasps*

"SoBA!" she yelled, standing up.

She ran off after him, and another howl was heard farther away. I followed her and dragged her to where he was. His blood is a familiar scent to me, one I'll never forget.

*growls and cries*

"SOOBIN!" She calls out again.

With that, I left before the others arrived. His howl broke my compulsion.

Her connection with him is strong too strong.
