A/n: these will be the last of the flashbacks and stories to all the side characters. After this chapter we will head back into the main story.

Jungwon's pov

~~~Flashback~~~

The first night I felt extremely numb.

The second night I had to process what happened.

The third night I felt so alone and afraid.

The fourth night I mourned my family.

The fifth night is when I finally understood her. Song Nabi.

This is what she felt. This is the terror that ran through her. This was what she had to face all on her own.

I regret not having properly been there for her. I never asked once if she was okay or needed anything or even if she needs comfort. I watched like everybody else. The only difference was they made her look bad by saying stupid things about her that she didn't do. They claimed she went crazy and killed her entire family. I on the other hand defended her because I knew that those rumors weren't true.

After she left the school I was told that I can take her place with our connections in the states but then my family died and I now understand not only what she felt but she was going through. How could anyone expect a person to continue their life so naturally after their family was killed.

What's worse is I couldn't help her at all. I was completely useless.

Sunoo's pov

"Sunoo we can't just give up on life now"

"How can you even go on like normal with everything that's happened?"

"Because mom and dad wouldn't want this they would want us to grieve yes support one another and move on"

I was upset at how easy my sister was acting about their deaths but she's right mom and dad would want us to move on. Although I can't because it was an animal attack so it could've just been him and Yuna.

Kai's pov

There she goes again. Ever since that night she hasn't been the same. I haven't gotten a full night of rest and usually stay awake after.

I sat down next to my sister and woke her from her nightmares. She is always crying and sweating but I stay with her until she falls back to sleep.

"I will find who did this to you"

"how?"

"I know someone who is very kind and helps people who have gone through what you have. He will help me"

"and what if you can't find who it was? What if they are already gone?"

"They aren't because they have targeted more people"

I let her sleep and watch the breezy summer night blow through the tree outside her window.

"You won't find me"

"whose there?"

"hmmm who said I was with you?"

"How...?"

"Don't worry about it. I advise you stop trying to find me because I don't mix in with the other vampires in town"

"So you're in hiding then?"
