Winter's pov
~Into the past~
We didn't know who we were. Our parents taught and raised us to be like normal children. However, things changed for good when both mine and Heesungs first blood moon unlocked our transformation.
Our parents treated it as normal. But this... this was not normal. Fur covering our bodies. Walking on all fours, howling when the moon is at its peak for blood shed. Nothing about that is normal.
Yet just like that we discovered that cross breading is a crime in the supernatural realm.
This was taught to us by our grandfather who shamed our parents.
Heesung questioned it a lot but I just stood back and watch as our story unfolded. Then one night we expected the moon to call upon us, it's servants, but instead we attacked each other.
Heesung and I lost control we were starving and nearly killed one another.
Until.... we heard a scream nearby. We found a group of people out by Lake Luna. These old people actually think it's safe out here. We devoured them and that is when our transition was complete we were now the forbidden crime grandfather spoke of.
Heesung finally got his answer and I stood by him. In the end, the idea had driven him mad. He killed our grandfather for not stopping our parents but..... that's also the last time I saw our parents.
We killed them for their crimes and made sure to keep our identities a secret. This didn't stick well with my brother though.
He caused trouble every where he went. He left trails and evidence behind. I knew if I didn't clean up his messes we would be in more danger than we are now.
I scattered bodies around forest and made sure no one saw me leave town with those girls.
After a while it became a routine. He makes the mess and I clean it up.
Some how I ended up making a mess of my own one night. Many years later I watch a boy almost kill his blood bond. He has no idea of the mess he's made. Another young vampire checks the child who was unconscious.
After confirmation he leaves the body there. I can't stand cleaning up the messes anymore. So I'll just have to make one big one of my own.
I attempt to revive that child and give him a chance to live. His blood however, has the venom of that boy with the yellow hair but now my venom is mixing into his.
I can tell he is going to be a very powerful vampire.
I watched him closely after he recovered during that same night.
He attacked a poor girl. He has no idea what he is.
"You look terrible" I said
"Ireumi mwoeyo?"He asked.
(What's your name?)
"nae ireum-eun Winter" I say
(My name is Winter)
"Okay" he says.
"It's the last thing you said" I informed him.
"What is?" He asked.
"Her name. When you die the last word you say before death is hard say when you come back. The last word you had breath'd before the end was here name. It will take 2 years before you can say it again" I said.
"2 years?" He asks.
"Sucks yes but that's the life of a vampire. You lose that word for 2 years to gain strength against it" I said
"Vampire I'm a vampire?" He asked in shock.
"You sent an EMT flying through a wall and injured 7 nurses dislocated the shoulder of your sisters doctor.... doctor Min and attacked that girl tonight" I said
"So how do I control it?" He asked
"Well I'll help you but under one condition you can't go see her. Your sister doesn't know vamps and wolves exist" I stated
"She's safer not knowing" he agrees.
"Yes also I may be busy at times. I have a brother too and he likes to cause trouble everywhere he goes" I said partly lying.
After that day I became his new family.
