Soobin's pov
3 vampires. All three smells lead back to just 1 familiar scent. His but why? Is he after her? Did she recognize him? Does she know the truth? After all these years, what do you want now, Yeonjun?
I couldn't fall asleep at all tonight because I kept thinking about his scent all over her. I bet she doesn't even realize this is all. What danger he could be. Does she even know he is a vampire? No, of course, not we've shielded her of such knowledge years ago and agreed to never come out about it to her. After what he did to her family, we couldn't tell her vampires existed and that 3 of them were her classmate and possibly her friends.
Nabi's pov
"Soobin, you okay?" I asked.
He's daydreaming. He never does that.
"Soobin," I called again, waving my hand in his face.
"Hmm what oh sorry SoNa. I was lost in thought, " he said.
"You haven't touched your food, and you spaced out. What's going on with you?" I asked, although I wish I didn't.
"You're what wrong with me," he said, standing up.
"CHOI SOOBIN THAT'S ENOUGH!" his mom said, slamming a knife into her cutting board.
He shifted and ran off. I felt my heart dissolve in my chest. I got up and left.
There's no way he means that. Not a single word of it, don't be stupid Soobin you know this is not the time to run of like a mad man. I ran through the woods, avoiding all the traps I could.
I ran until I ran into someone.
"Aaiihhh!" I cried out. Who the hell is that hard?
"NABI?!" ????
I held my shoulder and tried sitting up. They helped me up, and I felt that chill again.
"Yeonjun? What are you doing out here?" I asked.
"I could ask you the same question?" He laughs.
"I'm sorry for running into you like that," I say, a bit embarrassed.
"What's wrong? You look worried," he asked.
Crap. SOOBIN! Damn I forgot.
"I gotta go. I'm sorry," I said. He grabbed my hand and pulled me back.
"Stay with me," he said. What is this? Why can't I move? Why dont I remember the reason for being out here?
