This chapter will be back to back memories of Nabi's life that was suppressed. I will use underscores as dividers for this chapter that will separate the memories. From this point forward, a lot of different events will take place from all perspectives as best as they can be, but this will also draw us closer to the end of the story.

___

"You seem lost,"

"Who are you?"

"Why get to know a stranger when you'll never see me again?"

"How do you know that?"

"Hmmm. Let me walk you back to where you came from. "

"Actually, I can't navigate home. I live out here. I just don't know where"

____

"Yeonjun, what are we doing out here?"  I asked.

"I'm going to teach you how to navigate these woods," Yeonjun says.

"Do you really think she'll remember something as useless as that. She lives in the town she doesn't need information like that" SoBa asked.

"she will one day. Besides, information like this is never considered useless. "

"And that involves us climbing this massive hill?" I questioned.

"she's got a point."

"I want to show you something before I teach you to navigate,"

We reach the top and look over the woods, and the town is not too far off next to it.

"Lesson one: Know your landmarks," He says.

"But you can't see any of them when in the woods,"

"and here's lesson two: Don't attempt to learn things from Yeonjun," Soba said, lifting me over his shoulder.

"YAH!"

I laughed, and Soobin took me home as Yeonjun ranted the whole way down the hill.

_____

"So, do you understand these woods better now?" Ryujin asked.

"I should be asking that," Yeonjun said, walking in on us.

"Yes, and it's thanks to Junii's help,"

"Why did you want her to learn anyway?"

"Why does everyone disregard the safety of learning the woods. If one day a big bad wolf is chasing little red through the woods, it won't kill her to know where her friends live and run for safety. "

"You're such a bad liar,"

"Hey, I don't mind spending time with Yeonjun even if it was a little boring," I say.

"You heard that she called you boring,"

_____

"So Nabi, can I ask you something?"

"Hmm?"

"I know this is weird and all to ask, but do you think Yeonjun would ask me to go to the school dance with him?" Luna asks.

"Umm, I don't think he wanted to go, but i'm sure if you asked his cousin to convince him, he would."

"You mean Sunghoon?"

"What about Sunghoon?" Ryujin turned in her seat.

"Luna wants to go to the dance with Yeonjun,"

"But he's not going,"

"That's why I told her to have Sunghoon convince him,"

____

"Yeonjun"

"You didn't really think I'd let you come alone, did you?"

"What about Luna?"

"She came with Sunghoon,"

"Oh,"

"Were you expecting someone else?"

"Ah no, it's just..."

I shouldn't have felt guilty about wanting Soobin to come to the dance instead of Yeonjun. I guess the guilt fell into place knowing that he rejected Luna and came with me instead. Personally, I was bothered by the idea that she wanted to go with him. Her question that day made my heart hit the floor. She was my best friend, and that's why it hurts so much.

____

Luna lays so peacefully in her casket, and her parents allow us all to see her before the funeral starts. This was my fault. I was supposed to die on that hill, not her. If only I hadn't grabbed her arm, she would be alive right now, and we would be putting our friend in the ground.

The tears welled up, but I refused to let them fall. However...

"Nabi, it's alright. You're allowed to cry," Soba said. He hugged me, and my tears fell down my puffed cheeks.

We stayed like this, and eventually, the funeral had begun.

I refused to watch as they put her in the ground. Her mother had let each of us toss a daisy on her casket. Why a daisy and not a rose? Easy, it was her favorite flower, and she always refused any other kind of flower. She made sure everyone knew this about her so that we won't mess up when giving her graduation flowers. The sad truth is that she never made it to graduation with the rest of us.

Yeonjun took my hand, and we both took a daisy from the small basket before walking over to her grave space. I looked down, and imminently, the tears had threatened again. He takes the flower from me and kneels down, tossing it onto her, and stands up to hug me as I was already a crying mess all over again.

_____

"This doesn't make sense at all. In what world does she get to live, and my bond dies when she is the one who fell?"

"Sunghoon, stop it. It doesn't matter, alright.... Luna is gone, and this won't bring her back, "Ryujin said.

"She doesn't deserve to be alive." He leaps forward at me, but Yeonjun slams him against the wall with such ease.

Soobin stands before me, shielding me, and Ryujin notices the pain in my eyes.

"I'm taking her home," She says.

"Let me," Yeonjun said.

"You sure?" Soba asked.

He looks at Sunghoon and then me before responding.

"Yes."

____

"Nabi-ah," Yeonjun sings my name.

"Hmm?"

"Can you help me?" He asks with a pout.

"with?" I asked.

He points to the question on the paper and gives me a pen.

"I'm not doing it for you Yeonjun you have to do it on your own. I will help, though," I say.

I explain the question to him and try to give him small hints to the answer but when I look at him he wasn't even looking at the paper in front of him where I explained everything and wrote notes for him.

Instead, he was staring at me
