Nabi's pov
"So why did we come all the way to Yeonjun's house for me to fight some guy I've never even met before in my life?" I asked.
"Nabi, this Beomgyu Yeonjun's family member he actually is a lot like you, so I thought it would be best for two similar minds to train together," She said.
A lot like me? What does she mean by that?
"Well, he was right about one thing," Beomgyu whispered.
"shhh," Yeonjun shushed him.
"Okay?" I said a bit confused.
"I'll help under one condition," He said.
"What?" Yuji asked, annoyed.
"I would like to spend time outside of training to get to know Nabi if that's alright with you," He asked.
I nodded in agreement, but he then looked at Yeonjun for approval.
"Fine," He said.
"Great come Nabi" He said. I followed him outside to the backyard of the house. He took off his sweater and pulled his sleeves up of his long sleeve shirt. He was dressed now in all black with Converse.
"You've trained before, right?" He asked.
"Yeah, with SoBa," I said.
"SoBa?" He asked,
"Soobin, he's my brother," I said.
He nods, and Yeonjun watches us along with Ryujin.
Beomgyu's Pov
I can tell even his name coming from her lips makes him feel hurt and sad.
If only he knew I could read her thoughts right now.
"Alright, Nabi, show me what you can do. Fight me, " I said
She attacked immediately, and even though she isn't hesitant at all, she is still very slow. I managed to dodge all of her attacks and land some of my own. When I asked if she wanted me to go easier on her, she attacked harder in response. As her pulse was rising, so was his Ryujin noticed and stood in front of him.
"Nabi, we should take a break," I said. She didn't stop though and attacked with full force, so I had to stop her or he would prance at her. I grabbed her hand before she could punch me spun her around and held her close to me. His eyes. He can't change here, not in front of her. I leaned over her, making her look down at the ground. My face was practically buried in her neck, and her scent filled my nose. I almost lost it, but I looked up at him. Ryujin had bit him to stop him from turning. I covered Nabi's eyes and sat her on the floor.
"Don't move okay stay low and stay quiet," I said. Her breathing changed after I said this. She's scared now.
I walked in front of her and held her in my arms, lifting her up to bring her inside. I got her something to drink, and she hesitated.
"I won't hurt you, I promise"
