Soobin's pov
"Why are we hear Soobin?" Dad asked
"This all may be rushed and too soon but today's meeting is more than necessary" I said.
"What's going on?" Mom asked.
"Nabi may be in danger" I said.
"How so?" Niki asked.
"Recently hunters have been investigating all the animal attacks listed and are interrogating those who lost family to those attacks" I started.
"So what?" Yuna said.
"So Nabi's family was killed by those vampires. Since then she has no memory of them existing and we've guarded her against this fact for a very long time so she won't grow insane by the thought of losing her family to bloodsuckers" I said.
"So what now we just have to protect her?" Niki asked.
"Yes. Earlier today I ran into someone I used to know and fought them off but they always were able to talk to me telepathically when I'm within range of them by 50ft. He had mentioned that there are 2 hunters in the same school as her so far and both recognized him. They questioned her today and almost made her lose it" I say.
"So we just pull her from school than" mom said.
"No it'll spook them and then they'll know we're on to them. Although Ryujin is a vampire as well she's never given us a reason to not trust her and she has always protected Nabi. She specializes in hunting the hunters but this time around she was forced to retreat with her leader" I said.
"What are you telling us to do her Soobin" dad asked.
"We are going to need a guardian" I say.
"Where are we going to find one?" Mom asked.
"I know 3 of them. I can get you one but it'll cost you. Guardians always want something in return. Think of this as my way of thanking you and showing my gratitude for you saving us and letting us join your pack" Niki said.
"One more thing. Along with that baby is the secret of it being a hybrid. It was being shielded by the relic but because it's laced in wolfsbane I can't touch it" I say.
"That can be fixed" Yuna said.
Niki nods in agreement and my parents just sigh in unison.
"Who exactly is this guardian that you speak of because the last one we ever heard of had passed away and her son is a runaway that we would have suspected to never make it on his own" mom said.
"Well he actually is our age and has found two others teaching them how to control their powers" Niki said.
"He?" Dad asked.
"Yeah. Wait you don't think he could be the same kid that ran away?" Yuna asked.
"If he survived then that means he is the last born male Guardian" dad said.
"When can we meet him?" mom asked.
"That depends on how soon Nabi makes the call?" Yuna said.
"Why her?" I asked.
"They only respond to human summoning. For one of us to call the entire pack would have to harmonize our howl to the ocean waves patterns the moon gives off" mom said.
"Considering we just met you guys and we don't know how your pack synchronizes it's best for her to make the summoning call" Niki said.
"How does it all work?" I asked.
"She would have to think about her most painful memory and scream with a circle of transformed wolves around her or near her" Yuna said.
"Soobin we can't make her relive that" Dad said.
"She lost them once but having that done twice will destroy her" Mom added.
"I know this might just be too much for her" I say.
