Soobin's pov
"Seems like you're saving wolves lately and adopting them" mom said cleaning Giselle's wound.
"I'm sorry" I said.
"Don't be. Your heart is kind and true" she said.
"I hate to ruin a touching moment between a mother and her son but I can't... No I mean I won't be staying" Giselle says.
"What do you mean your still injured?" I asked.
"My pack abandoned me and left me for dead when those hunters showed up at our front door. They used me as a sacrificial pawn to distract the hunters while they make a run for it. I won't let that happen ever again which is why I'm not joining your pack" she said.
"Mom stay with her I'll be right back" I said as my ears perked up to his whispers. Mom and dad can not hear his telepathic call but I can.
"What do you want?" I ask.
"You know what I want. We have no other options and they hunt the both of us" he whispered.
"You're insane if you think I'll ever team up with you" I retorted.
"Oh? And what about Nabi? Don't you care about her protection you and I both know I'm faster and stronger than you when it comes to protecting her. You need me Soobin. What happened in the past will never be excused but that doesn't mean I don't still care for her" he says.
"You may have heightened skills than I do after what happened but I will never need your help. My final answer is no. Leave before your detected in our territory. You know I wont stop them from killing you" I said.
I left after that and I can smell the anger coursing through him.
Beomgyu's pov
Yeonjun you psychopath. Why couldnt you just wait for me. But nooo you had to go off on your own to confront Soobin if he rips you to shreds thats on you. Meanwhile I'm stuck cleaning up his mess he left after breakfast.
"Why can't you feed off of animals instead of hot girls" I ask outloud.
I carry her body out into the woods and left it far from our territorial zone. When I got back a guy was standing there at our door.
"What do want?" I asked keeping distance.
"You're nothing but a fledgling you never finished the transition. You reak of animal blood you know. That's considered diet food in the vampire world" he said.
"What? Why are you here? Who sent you?" I asked.
"So many questions. You're annoying me now" he said and in seconds had his hand around my neck squeezing and lifting me off the ground. I grab his hand trying to pull it away but it was no use. It became clear he was much stronger than me.
"The names Heesung and don't you forget it fledgling. One day you'll serve me" he said.
"I think not"
My body fell and hit the ground as I look up to see Yeonjun attacked that Heesung guy.
"Well well look who joined the party. Choi Yeonjun spring equinox festival wasn't it? What happened to your hot date did you suck her dry" he said attacking Yeonjun.
"You have no right to be back here after what you did you're the reason the hunters are even on to us in the first place" he said fighting back.
"That's enough Heesung" a girl said appearing from behind the trees.
"Gosh Winter must you always ruin the fun" Heesung asked the girl.
I- I know her.
"Long time no see Beomgyu. Miss me" she said.
"Not in a million years" I said.
"Aw don't be so down you should've known I was only using you as cover" she winks at me.
"Heesung leave" Yeonjun said.
"We have better things to do anyway right brother?" Winter asked him.
"Yeah I've got a few tricks I'd like to teach the next victom" he and with that they both left.
"Are you alright?" Yeonjun asked. Helping me up.
"I'm fine but you got here just in time" I say.
"I have a bad feeling he's up to something" Yeonjun said.
"Are we skipping school today?" I asked
No but we need to go now if we don't want to be late" He said.
Nabi's pov - time skip
"You can't be serious?" Gyu asked.
"I am he doesn't want me hanging out freely with the hunters questioning me about my past" I said closing my locker.
"He does know that they are your classmates to right?" Yeonjun said.
"No and I'd like to keep it that way or who knows what he'll do" I said.
"This sucks how are we gonna ever get to hang out?" Gyu asked.
"I don't know but I'm gonna run to the bathroom before we leave when your done just wait for me outside" I said.
They nodded and I literally run to the bathroom. After handling my business I step out of the stall to wash my hands and fix my hair when I seen Yeji next to me. She was fixing her makeup.
"Song Nabi" she said.
"Ah sorry for staring" I appologised.
"No worries. Hey I saw your name on the news last night. You too are one of the victoms right?" She asked.
"Oh erm yeah I am ah but wait are you too a victom?" I asked.
"Yeah I am sadly. Hey um if your ever struggling with it and need to talk to someone I'm here for you okay" She said.
"Sure" I say.
"Here" she said pulling out a pen and paper writing her humber address and instagram tag.
"Um are you sure it's okay?" I asked.
"Yeah just message me anytime. I have a feeling you and I are going to be very close" she smiles.
"Um okay well thank" I said before leaving.
I hope the guys weren't waiting long the halls are already cleared. Yeji leaves the restroom after me and walked up to Kai leaving school together. Are they dating?
I walked the halls to the exit and suddenly heard my name.
"Nabi-ah"
I spun around and no one was there I turn back toward the exit and felt my heart rate speed up.
"Hello?" I called out.
"Mmm haha Young Nabi you don't know how much danger you're really in" the whispers start again.
"Yeonjun Beomgyu if that's you guys playing a prank on me this isn't funny"
"You know me better than those two losers Nabi think back on that night" the whispers fade away and suddenly the atmosphere felt very cold.
"Who are you?" I asked. I left the school and seen the guys there. Suddenly the fear of the voice disappeared.
