Trippze woke up, rubbing his eyes. Time to get this show on a road. He thought, changing into his new uniform. When get got out the the bathroom, Cassiel was standing, clutching the phone. "You ready for this?" He asked, seeing he was looking a bit anxious.
"Ready as I ever will be." Cassiel said, flicking the eye on his hand open. "And- um- I just wanted to say thank you again. You did not have to take the effort to do this. S-so yeah, I will leave it at that." He said, looking down.
"It's no problem, Azreal is a friend and I'd do what I can to help him." Trippze replied, opening the door. "Be ready for when I call." He said before leaving. Cassiel nodded, watching out of the window.
Trippze hopped into the van and drove to the designated area. On the way he grabbed a mint milkshake, not trusting the facility. As he was taking a sip, he sighed. "Let's do this." He muttered to himself, setting it down.
When he made it into the facility he clocked in before heading back to the main room, on the floor instead of the balcony. He saw some of the soldiers and scientists on the floor throw him confused looks, but ultimately ignored him. They figured that he just wanted a closer look a the subjects, and went back to work as if he wasn't there.
Trippze glanced over the two wolves before heading to a dark corner of the room, hacking into the facility's systems using his phone. He set off an alarm saying that there was a fire on the East side of the facility to draw the guards away.
The employees acted quickly, some of the guards moving the engineers to a different side of the facility while the soldiers rushed to take care of the 'fire.' There was some grumbling about the "old building."
Afterwards, Trippze deactivated the security system what was set up to go off if the subjects were released. He put his phone into his pocket, making his way through the panicked workers straight up to the generator. He leapt upwards and grabbed both of the levers, pulling them down with a metallic clank. The hissing drew to a stop.
At the same time, both of the subject's eyes flew open. Gabriel's ocean blue eyes glanced downwards towards the intense pain in his chest. He was his brother's own sword- or a shard of it, that is- through his chest. He growled, one of his arms snapping free of the metal easily and pulling the metal out of his chest in a fluid motion. Immediately the wound started to glow with a bright golden light.
Azreal's eyes flickered open more slowly. He was in a bit of a daze, but as soon as he caught sight of Trippze, he jerked free of the chains binding his arms. "W-whats going on?" He grumbled, rubbing his eyes.
Trippze took out his phone, calling Cassiel. "Hey Cass its time for you to get here." He said before turning to Azreal, pulling out his gun. "Well, it's a rescue mission for the both of you." He said, tossing a glance at Gabriel.
"What?" Azreal followed his gaze. "Oh shit." He gulped. He quickly snapped the chains on his legs. As soon as people started to realize what was going on, the engineers in the upper floors started to rush toward the guns that contained the special bullets.
Gabriel finished off the chains restraining him as his eyes and mouth started to glow brighter and brighter. Azreal's eyes widened, and he quickly tackled Trippze. "Damnit- GABRIEL STOP!" He yelled. "What the fuck- be careful they weaponized whatever was in your chest!" Trippze yelled.
Gabriel ignored them as suddenly a bright light suddenly engulfed the facility. Azreal slapped a hand over Trippze's eyes as Gabriel reveled his true form. The light was followed by a wave of intense heat. The sounds of screaming and gunshots being followed by silence.
As the light faded Azreal got off Trippze, both of their fur burnt. He saw Cassiel fall from a portal as he marched straight up to Gabriel. "I told you to stop! Why didn't you, you could've killed the one mortal that cared about releasing you!" He yelled at the taller god.
Gabriel looked down at his younger brother. "Mortals die anyways. Since when do you care?" He said. As Trippze looked around the room, all he saw was a few people left alive. The rest were reduced to ash. He walked straight up to Gabriel, punching him in the face. "God or not, you don't have to be an asshole. Don't be a douche to my friend." He growled.
Cassiel intersected the three. "Hey, stop fighting. Right now we just need to get out of here." He said, making a rift in the side of a wall. Gabriel's fur bristled, and he was about to attack Trippze, but Cassiel grabbed his scruff as well as Azreal's and dragged them through the rift. Trippze followed, rolling his eyes as it shut behind him, sirens starting to blare in the facility.
When the rift closed, Trippze saw that they were back in the hotel room. Gabriel looked to Azreal. "I knew you and Cassiel were best buds, but it is surprising that you have the capability of forming friendships with anyone that is not immortal." He taunted. Azreal was about to give a snarky reply, but instead doubled over and started to cough up blood into his hand. "T-that isn't good." He huffed.
Once the coughing fit was over he turned back to Gabriel. "You know, wouldn't it make you look like a bitch if your best friend was dead?" He challenged. "Uhh, I suppose so? Wait... is this puny angel implying that Micheal is dead?" Gabriel laughed.
Cassiel shook his head. "Azreal, do not do that." He said in warning. Trippze sat down. "Hotdog, chill out, I wanna watch this." He said. Cassiel's eyes widened. "Oh, no, you do not." He said.
Azreal smirked. "I dunno, he was being a jerk. Now Uriel is supposed to take his place as heir to the throne." Azreal said. "WHAT?" Gabriel said, turning to Cassiel. "You cannot be serious!" Cassiel had a grim look on his face.
Gabriel turned to Azreal aggressively. "Do you have any idea how many problems this will cause for Asgard?" He growled, shoving him against a wall. Azreal huffed, summoning his scythe. "Oh, well that's not my problem, is it though? You're just sad that I have just as much power as you." He retorted.
Trippze stood and pulled out his gun, aiming it at Gabriel. "Gabriel, if we're gonna have problems I'm gonna shoot you." He said. The angel turned to the dragon. "Who the hell are you?" He growled, shaking his head before turning to Cassiel. "If you what the throne, then you will have to fight me for it. The same goes for all of my brothers." He growled. "I'm the guy who's gonna sleep with your mom." Trippze pitched in.
"Oh, I'll fight you without that bet. You can have your sucky title." Azreal said. Gabriel laughed, summoning the hilt and rest of the sword. He put the final shattered piece on top and it melted together, quickly reforming. The firey sword was complete. Azreal shrugged. "Give me a second." He said, sticking a finger into a bullethole in his chest and dragging out a bullet. "Ah, I see what the problem was." He said, throwing the bullet at Gabriel.
Trippze looked at Cassiel. "This guy screams douche." He said. Cassiel face-palmed. "Yes, I have a had to put up with him for eons." "I should have left him in the lab." Trippze stated. "It is complicated." Cassiel sighed, before intervening in the near-fight. "Alright, you two better stop being brats and put your weapons away. Gabriel, quit being an ass for no reason. Azreal, quit antagonizing him." He said.
Azreal shrugged. "Him first." He said, leaning on Trivia. Gabriel grumbled something under his breath before the sword disappeared. Trivia disappeared after. "Alright. What is your little plan now?" Gabriel asked.
"Well, the plan was to just rescue Azreal and I didn't know you were in there till the last minute. We need to figure out a way to get back to Damien and them." Cassiel nodded. "We were hoping that you could, I do not know, maybe use your powers to get us back?" He smiled.
Gabriel pointed at his back. It had huge golden scars where his wings used to be. "Does it look like I will be getting these anytime soon?" He retorted. Cassiel arched a brow. "Ugh. Fine, I will do it." Gabriel muttered as the wing markings on his chest started to move and grow.
Trippze sat down. "So, how did you get captured by a bunch of mortals, you almighty god-person." He said sarcastically. "Captured? As if. I was caught up in a storm in the frozen tundra and fell into the icy waters. I got stuck there for a few decades... I do not remember anything after I fell." He said, furrowing his brows.
Soon huge white wings burst from his back, the wing markings gone from his chest. He unfurled them, glancing at their makeup. They were wide, compact feathers, and the white was a stark contrast against his fur.
Azreal leaned against a wall, looking at Trippze. "Hey, where's my shake?" He asked, holding back laughter. "Ahh, you will get your shake when we get back to Damien's house." Trippze replied. Azreal chuckled. "Who's Damien?" He asked.
Gabriel rolled his eyes, turning to Cassiel. "Give me an idea of where I am supposed to be going." He said. Cassiel nodded, grabbing his wrist and sending him images of the area around the house. Gabriel nodded. He turned to them, stretching. "Alright, I can't carry all three of you at once, soooo," he grabbed Azreal, pitching him over his shoulder before taking off. With a single wingbeat they disappeared into thin air.
"That son of a-" Cassiel muttered. "I'm guessing they went somewhere completely different." Trippze muttered. "I have no idea. I will look for them." Casiel said, his eyes flicking open. "I'll beat the shit outta him if he did." Trippze growled.
Cassiel raised a brow. "You are very confident about that. I do not see how you can be so brave in the face of death." He said. "Ehh, maybe it's from my assassin's training." Trippze shrugged. Cassiel hummed in response. After a minute he smiled. "I found them. They are just talking, and they are where they are supposed to be." He said, relief filling his voice.
