After Trippze left, Star started to help load up. She stuffed a few sheets into her backpack as well as the medical supplies for Gluzze. Galaxy helped her put the things in place. Damien grabbed the weapons and stuff along those lines and brought them out to the van, keeping a door open for them to bring Gluzze out.
Firetail went over to Gluzze. "Hey someone help me with her." He said. Star nodded, handing the backpack over to Galaxy as came over to help Firetail. As she and Firetail picked up Gluzze Damien spoke. "Hey, by the way, I had a coded lock put on the basement door since that's where our weapons are gonna be kept and where you can train for combat scenarios and stuff. So if you have school friends over they won't be able to find anything." He said.
"Yeah, I have one friend, but I definitely wasn't planning on inviting him over anytime soon." Star said. "Not in all this chaos, at least." She added. Did you get cameras in Gluzze's room?" Firetail asked as they walked out the door.
"Yeah they're put up. I'll start the car." Damien said. As Star and Firetail laid Gluzze in the car, Cassiel trialed behind Damien. "Hey, um, could I go with you by any chance? I do not sleep or eat so I would not take any space, I just do not have anywhere to really go..." he said. All the money he had was a pouch of silver coins, and he had tried using them earlier and they were not an accepted currency, apparently.
"Yeah sure, I don't see why not." Damien shrugged, starting the van. "Thank you." Cassiel said, watching as everyone hopped into the van. Star sat in the back with Galaxy and Firetail sat in the middle with Gluzze, leaving the front to Damien and Cassiel.
"Alright introductions; I'm Star and this is Galaxy. That's Damien driving, Firetail in front of me, and Gluzze sleeping. Who are you?" Star said, stretching. "I am Cassiel, I am on an official mission from my father to find my brother Gabriel, but really I am in search of Azreal." Cassiel replied.
"You have strange names." Star inquired. "I suppose." Cassiel said, not giving it much thought. "Alright, so I'll give everyone the basement code except Gluzze." Damien told them. "Probably a good idea. But we should make it seem like Damien is the only one who knows if for she doesn't realize, might make things worse." Firetail said.
Cassiel was unintentionally focused on what Trippze was up to, in a deep zone to where not even a wave infront of his face would snap him out of it. "Well, that'll be easy, coma and all." Star said flatly. "But I agree with Firetail."
They went silent and Star took the opportunity to text Cliff. 'Sorry I had to leave, we had an unexpected guest and our friend was acting up.' She sent. 'It's good, though I can only talk for a bit. About to hand over the phone to the brat.' Cliff replied, sending a picture of himself and his sister sitting beside him. Star smiled.
Damien looked back at her. "Sooooo, you texting that guy friend of yours?" He asked. Firetail immediately looked over at her, confused. Star laughed nervously and pulled her knees up to her chest. "I- uh- yeah, so?" She stuttered back.
"He a good guy?" Damien asked. "Oh yeah, wasn't his name like Cliff or something?" Firetail asked. Star rubbed the back of her neck. "Y-yeah he's really nice and laid back. He hasn't questioned anything and he's pretty patient." She said. "His dad is the chief of police and he did that he would help us out through him." She added.
"That's good. Ahhh, what's school like?" Damien asked as Fire chuckled at Star's embarrassment. Her ears flicked back. "It's okay. I have to try and catch up with the rest of my grade, but apparently I picked up more from the lab than I thought I did. All I really struggle with is like history and English." Star said. "Than again, its only been a few days."
Damien pulled up to the house. "That's good, I never did so well in school." He said while getting out. "You're telling me, I was kidnapped right after I graduated. That's the true shame." Firetail said jokingly, getting out and going around to get Gluzze.
Star grabbed her pack, looking at Gluzze and than to Galaxy. "Hey, Galaxy, you got this right? Thanks!" She said before sprinting inside the house. Galaxy sighed. "I guess that is fair." She said, going to help Firetail. Damien got the gun bags out of the back, unlocking the front door to Star then putting the bags in the basement.
Cassiel looked at the two struggling to lift Gluzze. "Hey why don't I get a break from carrying her?" Firetail asked jokingly. "Hey Damien, where does Gluzze go?" Cassiel walked over and grabbed Gluzze around the waist, hefting her onto his shoulder. "I got her." He said, walking inside while carrying her with one arm.
"What- how- that is not fair." Galaxy exclaimed, generally gesturing towards the coyote. Damien looked at Cassiel then to Firetail. "Last room to the right, yours is the one to the left of that one." He said. Cassiel brought Gluzze to the room mentioned, seeing there was a bed shoved into a corner. He laid her in the mattress and covered her with a few sheets before leaving.
