I opened my eyes and yawned when I felt the sun's rays hitting my face.
I stretched my arms and almost yelled in surprise when I saw a pair of cold eyes staring at me.
"M-ma'am."- I whispered.
She pursed her lips and glanced at her wrist watch.
"How's your sleep?"
Hindi ako sumagot. Masyado kasing plain yung pagkakasabi nya. Walang feelings ganon. Tapos passive lang yung mukha nya.
"Did you followed me here?"
She chuckled in amusement and gave me a blank stare.
"Stop dreaming, CCTV doesn't lie." -she simply said.
I mentally slap myself. Every building has a CCTV system; why did I overlook it?
"Get up and go to Mrs. Garcia." - she said authoritatively.
"Ipapa guidance mo ako?"- hindi makapaniwalang sabi ko.
"You didn't attend your classes and just slept in the library after flirting with your classmate. So yeah, you deserve to have bad records, Miss Dezmond."
I scoffed in disbelief. She stood up from her seat and fixed her blazer.
Pati ako ay napatayo nadin at inabot ang kamay nya.
"Can you let it slide for now?"- I said, feeling hopeful.
She slowly removed her hand from my grasp and put it inside her blazer pocket.
"I don't tolerate tardiness. Save your energy for later. I think you have plenty of restrooms to clean."
Napapikit ako sa inis.
"Can I just do it tomorrow? Hapon na po oh."
"Try to do it first before you complain."
Napapadyak nalang ako sa frustrations dahil tuluyan na syang umalis. Laglag balikat akong lumabas ng library.
Nakita ko naman sya na may mga kausap ng professors sa hallway kaya dumiretso nako kay Mrs. Garcia.
She instructed all the janitors to not clean the restrooms. And after that, she told me what I should do.
"Babalikan kita, bawal kang tumakas."- paalala nito bago umalis.
Napangiwi nalang ako habang pinagmamasdan ang restroom. Buti nga restroom lang ng babae yung pinapalinis sakin e. Duh ayaw ko kaya sa banyo ng lalaki.
So far hindi naman sya madumi. Except sa sahig na kailangan ng mop para mawala yung mga marka ng sapatos.
Pagkatapos ko sa first floor ay yung sa second floor naman.
"Okay relax Gwen. Matatapos mo to."- bulong ko habang nag ma mop.
Actually may tatlong building pa e. Pero bahala na yan. Kailangan ko magmadali. Ayaw ko maabutan ng dismissal.
Madalas pa naman may mga multo sa c.r
Baka imbes na mapayapa ang buhay ko bigla nalang akong mahimatay sa takot.
"Ay multong walanghiya!"
Napatingin ako sa phone ko na nag iingay sa gilid ng sink. Binitawan ko muna yung mop at nagpunas ng pawis.
"Yes?"
"Where are you?"
"Engineering building. Second floor, girls restroom."
"Why are you there?"
