(S1-C1) A New Dawn

Hey everyone! It's time to begin Paw Patrol: Blazing Avalanche. As the story description mentioned, this is a sequel to Paw Patrol: Frozen Fire! I hope you guys enjoy this!

The Adventure Bay lookout for the first time in a while was peaceful. The two floors of the building were still destroyed and miscellaneous objects were all over the two floors because of the attack the building endured because of Ruben and Butch, outside in their pup houses, six of the eight pups were sleeping in the pup houses, with Marshall and Everest having gone up to Ryder's room earlier that night to speak to him, and then they didn't come back down, likely because they fell asleep.

Chase was sleeping with Skye curled into his side in his pup house, sharing the warmth of his fur with the Cockapoo while his mind was thinking about everything that's happened, between the horrors of Marshall and Everest's pasts being revealed to shove their trauma back to the forefront of their minds, Ruben and Butch being on the loose and the pressure Chase was facing after everything being the only pup on the team team with firearms training didn't help in the two times he had to use that training fairly recently, but here they all were, sleeping restfully because of his training and some other factors. "Maybe I should talk to Ryder about training the other pups with firearms in case of" Chase thought to himself, it would certainly help in worst case scenarios, but would that really be something the other pups would do? That's a conversation for another day.

As for Rubble and Tracker, they were sleeping in their own pup houses, they were fast asleep like everyone else, and Rubble predictably was dreaming about food, he had a reputation among the pups as one of their biggest eaters but he was also a great construction pup. As for Tracker, he was missing Carlos, as was Everest with Jake, Tracker had decided to stay at the lookout for a little while with Carlos out on an expedition, but Jake and Carlos said they'll come down to the lookout to be with the pups and Ryder after what happened.

Meanwhile, Rocky and Zuma were also sleeping next to each other in Zuma's pup house. Around eight months ago, both of them had come out of the closet when they announced their relationship that they had unfortunately kept hidden for around six months out of fear of being kicked out of the team. But when they announced their relationship, to their surprise and relief, the pups, Ryder and everyone in Adventure Bay supported them, making them wish they had come out sooner, it was definitely a lot of unnecessary stress on their mind before they did.

After around an hour of extra sleep, Chase got up and saw the time: 8:30. An hour past the time they usually get up, Chase didn't want to get up due to being really comfortable with Skye right next to him, but the town could need their help at any point, and they'd have to clean up the lookout at some point. So reluctantly, Chase pressed a paw into Skye's chest lightly and whispered, "Morning beautiful, it's past time to get up" as Skye tossed and turned in her sleep, lightly opening her eyes as she yawned and spoke tiredly.

"Not now Chasey... I'm having a dream about an ocean of dog treats and swimming in them"

Chase laughed at this, getting an idea. "Well okay, I guess Rubble will just eat your food, I could get Ryder right now, get breakfast ready and wake Rubble, then poof, no food"

Chase was only lightly joking with this, Rubble is a great construction pup but what he's really known for inside the team is his huge appetite, Everest is similar in terms of how much she can chow down on in a short time, but no matter what, contest or not, Rubble always finishes first, sometimes even eating out of the other bowls before the others get to breakfast or dinner. But that was enough to wake Skye up, apparently all it took was the mention of food and she was sprinting a mile a minute inside the pup house at such a speed, you could say she's faster than Mighty Chase at top speed right now and you'd have a solid case.
