After the failed mission to reactivate this radio tower near Adventure City's city plaza, the six remaining Whispers regrouped at the helipad that they had started this mission from, around a mile from the failed mission's area.
"Damnit, damnit, DAMNIT!" Thunder yelled as he clenched his one of his paws into a fist and punched the steel of the helipad, screaming out in anger and frustration as he thought about how Odin had been captured, how he and the other Whispers could do nothing to prevent their teammate being captured; and worst of all, knowing just how ruthless the Cobalt Order is as a criminal syndicate, they may have already killed him by now. "Okay team, we know where the Cobalt Order's main base is, and that has to be where the bastards are taking Odin. But at the same time, a direct assault is way too risky and would get us killed." Thunder continued as he took a short breath, trying to bring some sense of control back over his mental state so that he could lead the other Whispers effectively once more and pull off this rescue mission.
"Thunder's right. If we do a frontal assault and head to the armored skyscraper with my helicopter, and then maybe rappel down the building to begin a breach, we're heading straight into the middle of enemy territory without much of an option to retreat, and we'd be at a heavy disadvantage in any fight that ensues during the rescue mission with our lack of information about the base itself,." Scarlet replied as the other five Whispers nodded in reply, knowing that this assessment of their current situation was completely right.
Knowing this, the six Whispers laid down on the helipad near Scarlet's military helicopter, trying to think about how they would pull this off. But at the same time, they couldn't take too much time formulating a plan or Odin's fate would almost certainly be sealed.
Adventure City - ???????????
———————————————-As one of the Cobalt Order's fighter jets flew above Adventure City (Equipment that they stole from the military, of course), its three pilots remained focused on getting back to the skyscraper base and bringing their prisoner to the boss, that way the fate of this prisoner as well as the other ones that had been captured earlier on during this war could be decided then and there.
There was a group of thirty highly trained Cobalt Order soldiers in the main part of the jet, all of them surrounding the new prisoner they had been able to capture during a fight near one of Adventure City's radio towers in a large residential area.
"You bastards! My team will find me, and we will kill all of you to have our revenge on you scumbags! MARK MY WORDS!" Odin yelled at the soldiers near him, his voice muffled due to the muzzle that was on his snout, but his bared fangs could still be clearly seen through it.
"That's funny, pup. Normally I wouldn't bother talking to any lowlife trash we capture, but you're special in a way. You're the first pup in a while that we get to torture information out of, isn't that just so exciting?" One of the soldiers said in an malice filled tone as they leaned over Odin mockingly as he snarled, pulling a combat knife off of their utility belt as they did so.
Odin continued to snarl with violent intent as the soldier dragged the combat knife against his neck, feeling it begin to draw blood as it cut through his fur and flesh slowly but steadily, and despite everything he's been through recently alongside the other Whispers, it took everything Odin had within himself not to scream out in agony right now with the burning sensation that the blade was causing. But even if he did, that wouldn't solve anything right now, the only people or pups that would hear his screams right now are these Cobalt Order soldiers.
"That's right, pup. Scream for us. Pain like this is what mutts like you deserve, and nothing less." One of the other hostile soldiers said towards Odin as the police pup continued to struggle against his restraints as he tried desperately to break free.
