Welcome to chapter 18 of Blazing Avalanche! This is the second time in a row that I've felt the need to put a warning like this at the beginning of a chapter. I mentioned in the last chapter that our next major fight scene will be set in a very real and sad problem that are in our daily lives, that of puppy mills. In puppy mills, dogs are subjected to absolutely horrific living conditions to produce a lot of puppies for profit, including but not limited to: malnutrition, cramped cages, no shelter from the weather, and food and water they are fed are often unsanitary, and for the sake of transparency and honesty in this warning, what the poor dogs in real life go through is just as bad in Blazing Avalanche, which means chapter 19 may get a bit more graphic compared to the rest of the story, there won't be a huge difference but with the material, a difference is unfortunately unavoidable. When I first began drafting the fight scene for this specific part of the story, I immediately knew I couldn't do a puppy mill setting and make it seem like a happy place where dogs are treated well and get along with their owners. These mills, as I said, are a very real and serious problem, and I don't want to write about them without talking about what they are and warning all of you that the puppy mills themselves and how dogs are treated in them will be discussed, especially over the remainder of this chapter and next chapter so that you will all be aware. I stand by what I said in chapter 17 and I still don't support puppy mills at all, and I never will support those atrocities. I strongly believe that all animals should be treated properly, whether that's to become product we use like a cow, pig, chicken, etc, or a lovable family pet like a dog or cat. That's all from me for now, enjoy this chapter of Blazing Avalanche!

The pup with purple eyes cut communications with the boss after the boss acknowledged her request for a helicopter to get to Barkingburg. Even though she never had a reason to trust this person she called boss directly, there were and still are incentives for her to do so. "I help them, and I get what I want. Then-" The pup cut herself off, realizing that repeating her own plans to herself in a monologue is pointless at this moment in time.

When they reached each other in the Adventure City park, the pup saw allies of theirs talking about plans to carry out while the boss was away. It was a busy scene in the park as allies discussed plans for enactment while the boss was somewhere else in Adventure City.

Queen knew she couldn't stay around for much longer, regardless of how much they wanted to talk. A critical mission for her was to protect the shipments of bred dogs being shipped from Barkingburg to Adventure City, one that the Boss had personally given to her. Though she couldn't understand why she was doing this all by herself, instead of with the assistance of other members of the organization, it wasn't important at the moment.

As they left the park, they went up the escalator to the outside helipad, where her ticket back to Barkingburg and ensuring the shipments went through would land soon if the Boss followed through on his malice-filled words.

The pilot of a helicopter with the organization's colors on it greeted the geared up pup with a wave as the helicopter landed a few moments later as the pilot spoke. "Off to Barkingburg, right? The boss told us to get a helicopter landed on this helipad for you."

"Yes. As I understand it, Marshall and Everest are in Barkingburg currently, so the puppy mills and shipments are at risk of being compromised since they are most likely to be found by those two. I will be heading to Barkingburg in order to protect the assets."

As Queen said this, she hopped into the helicopter, feeling the radio in her vest's pocket move around a bit as she landed in the seat and laid down. With the knowledge of Marshall and Everest likely being in Barkingburg, Queen had a feeling the rest of the Paw Patrol couldn't be far behind. She only knew Marshall and Everest weren't with the rest of the team because of the statement Ryder put on the Paw Patrol website, and even though the Paw Patrol are her enemy, she still kept tabs on that website for information on what they're doing.
