Rocky began to get into position on the roof of an abandoned building on the east of the shipyard as Ryder, Chase, Zuma, Tracker and Rubble all began to walk closer and closer to the shipyard.
Once Rocky was in position, he laid down on the roof and spoke into his pup pack's green, blue and black radio. "Ryder, team, this is Rocky. I am in position with a sight line on the pup in the shipyard. Be careful, there are more people there. They're armed." The mixed breed cautioned as he listened for any responses from the team, looking down the scope of his sniper rifle as he did so.
As Rocky looked down the scope of his sniper, he also saw the tactical visor that was over his eyes light up with information. As the four pups and Ryder continued to walk towards the shipyard, their bodies were lit up by outlines of sorts.
Each pup's outline was the exact same color as the main color of their pup tag and gear, like orange for Zuma, dark blue for Chase, yellow for Rubble and a very dark green for Tracker. However, Ryder's outline surprised Rocky the most. It was the Paw Patrol's main red, blue and white, all in the same outline.
The hostiles in the shipyard also had a outline, but unlike the rest of the Paw Patrol, who had different colors as their outlines on the heads up display, every single hostile had a bright sharp red outlining them, which disappeared when Rocky lost line of sight on a target, same with the visors the other pups were wearing.
Rocky continued to look down the scope as Ryder spoke into his radio, responding to the mixed breed with instructions. "Copy that, Rocky. Don't take a shot yet, we're going to remain quiet."
"10-4, Ryder. I'll hold my current position." Rocky said as he breathed deeply and continued to look down the sniper scope, waiting for the signal from Ryder to fire a shot.
On the ground, the team of four pups and Ryder neared the shipyard as Ryder took the pistol that he was carrying out of its holster and raised it upwards, ready to fire if he needed to.
What have we become? Where did the fun having joyful Paw Patrol go? I know we have no other choice other than to fight right now, but I feel all of us slowly getting desensitized to the horrors of war. Chase thought to himself as he looked over to Ryder, seeing the determined look in his leader's eyes as he looked down the iron sights of the pistol that he was carrying.
"Zuma, can you swim around the shipyard and get a flank going? We need to get a good position on these hostiles." Ryder suggested as he hid behind a shipping container with Rubble and Chase.
"Will do, Ryder sir. I'm on it." Zuma said as his scuba gear activated once he barked out for it, fully activating as the chocolate Labrador landed in the water and dove underwater.
As Zuma began swimming, a light came out of his pup pack and began shining through the murky water, allowing Zuma to see what he was doing.
"Okay team, I'm in position." Zuma said as he jumped out of the water and his scuba gear deactivated, allowing the chocolate Labrador to shake his fur of the water to dry himself quietly.
"Got it Zuma. Rocky, I need you to watch over Zuma with your sniper. If he gets into trouble, take a shot to help him out." Ryder said as the team of three came out of cover from behind the shipping container, their weapons raised high as Ryder put his hands in a position so he was ready to fire if he needed to.
"Arf! SMG!" Rubble barked out as his grenade launcher swapped out for the SMG that was also in his pup pack.
"Let's move out, everyone!" Ryder called out as Rubble and Chase followed him into the maze of shipping containers, heavy equipment and armed hostiles.
