While Marshall and Ryder were speaking, the other pups had been comforting Everest, who had calmed down slightly. Her eyes were still bloodshot and wide open with fear as she frantically looked around for Marshall.
"Mar..Marshall... Wh- Is he okay? Did Ruben and Butch get... him?" Everest whined as the team looked around, they knew Marshall and Ryder had both gone somewhere in the lookout to speak at Ryder's request, but where in the lookout?
"Hey Everest, it's okay. Marshall is with Ryder somewhere in the lookout, to be honest, we aren't fully sure where they exactly went in the lookout either" Skye told Everest as the husky tried to calm down, but the thoughts of Ruben and Butch and what they did to her and the love of her life, and so many other pups infuriated her, so she felt like she had to ask something.
"Thanks Skye... but I feel like I need to ask something, to all of you" Everest admitted as the pups looked attentively towards her, prepared for whatever she had to ask. "When I..." Everest paused for a moment, in all likelihood this would change how the other pups perceived her in a negative way but it was too late, she had already begun the thought and had the attention of six pups. "When I think of Butch and Ruben, what they did to us... I feel like I need to rip their throats out and leave them dead to move on... or something like that. I haven't told anyone about how I'm feeling yet, but I have a feeling Marshall has a similar sentiment, what do you guys think though? Would killing Ruben and Butch to move forward in me and Marshall's lives be going too far?"
Immediately after Everest said this, silence filled the air as the pups thought about this. It was definitely a hard question they hadn't thought of, but Marshall and Everest will be able to move forward in their lives somehow and at some point... right? But is bloodshed the only way the two of them will be able to move forward, at least when Butch and Ruben are dead?
"Everest, as a officer of the law" Chase began, breaking the silence as he tried to articulate his thoughts. "I think going after Ruben and Butch like that and then killing them to move forward from your past is a bad move. If a plan is made to kill someone, executed upon, and whether that person dies or not, you're being charged with conspiracy and or homicide. Leave it to us, we'll help you find the evidence needed to fully prove Ruben and Butch's crimes and lock them away for good, there's no need to be a vigilante here."
"Chase I agree with you, but my reasoning is that if we don't act sooner rather than later, we're in danger and so are any other animals Ruben and Butch capture. I understand and respect your position as an officer of the law and member of our team, but I feel something has to be done" Everest brought up to Chase. Chase knew she had a point there, but he had a good point with what he said as well, murder is still an extremely serious offence even if the victim is a heinous criminal.

Lookout - Second Floor 11:00 AMMeanwhile, Marshall and Ryder were still discussing what Marshall would do for his and Everest's date. Marshall had an idea for the ending of the date, but wanted to hear Ryder's opinion on it.
"So, what if we ask Captain Turbot to bring us out to sea on the Flounder as the sun sets tonight? I'm thinking we do the dinner at Mr. Porter's before that if Captain Turbot is okay with it, what do you think Ryder?"
"Marshall, I think that's a great idea, I'm going to go downstairs and speak to Captain Turbot while I check on the other pups."
"Okay Ryder."

Adventure City - Assisted Animal Therapy 11:05 AMAs Rebecca continued to walk towards the parking lot the company owned to get in her car, she realized she had skipped breakfast this morning as her stomach rumbled.
