Hey guys! I don't usually like to interrupt the start of a chapter with an authors note, but I have something to say before the show gets moving. Thank you for all the support on Blazing Avalanche so far, but what I truly wanted to say was that Pups on Mount Everest will be getting its first chapter since the break began at the end of season 1 of Blazing Avalanche. (One season is 10 chapters) I'm sorry for the break the story took and if it affected your enjoyment of the story, but both stories will be updated at around the same pace moving forward. Now then, on with Chapter 6!

Lookout - First Floor 2:45 PMIn the lobby of the lookout, Chase had been speaking to Skye and Tracker heard the sound of the elevator coming down as the young German Shepherd looked up to see Rebecca in the elevator. Marshall, Everest and Ryder were also nowhere to be seen, which surprised the young pup.
"Tracker, you and Skye can keep talking about what we were discussing. I'll go see what's going on here" Chase said as his ears picked up Tracker and Skye resuming the conversation the three of them had started.
"So Tracker, what's been your favorite memory of living in the jungle with Carlos?"
"Honestly amiga, I can't choose, there are so many good ones."
"Fair enough."
As he looked back to the elevator as it descended, Chase had a question on his kind "When did Rebecca get up to the second floor, and where did Ryder, Marshall and Everest go?" Chase thought to himself as something flashed his mind, he had been talking to Skye and Tracker to see if they'd both be interested in firearms training, but he had to keep his equipment up to scratch for combat purposes "Maybe... just maybe, I could get Ryder with me to help prepare for the worst case scenarios regarding Ruben and Butch with more equipment? I think the pistol and flash bang launcher I've got are great but some more equipment and utility in this pup pack couldn't hurt, especially if we can set some gear up for everyone" Chase resumed his thoughts as he walked past Rebecca, staring forward as he pup tagged into Ryder's pup pad.
"Ryder sir, I hope Marshall and Everest are doing good. I'm heading down to the basement of the lookout if you want to speak about what we discussed earlier"

Lookout - Elevator 2:45 PMThe elevator dinged softly as it reached the first floor of the lookout with Rebecca in it. Once it did, she walked out quietly, Marshall and Everest's mental states were of course on her mind but how has this entire situation been affecting Ryder and the other pups?
"Maybe I should schedule therapy sessions for the other pups if they're interested. They more than likely need help as well, whatever happened in the past has clearly created deep rooted trauma in Marshall and Everest, but it's also clearly weighing on the minds of the other pups and Ryder."
As she walked out into the lobby of the lookout, she saw the German Shepard Ryder had told her was Chase walk past her and into the elevator, the elevator going down below the first floor of the lookout as the door closed. Looking around the lookout, she took in her surroundings and where the other pups were. Tracker and Skye were standing near each other chatting about something with Rocky working on some small invention while Rubble and Zuma were taking a bit of a nap on a couch.
The animal therapist lightly smiled at this, she didn't know the Paw Patrol and how they were before Ruben and Butch came back, but they seemed happier in the moment than Rebecca had expected; naturally that isn't a bad thing but to her, it's a testament to how well the Paw Patrol work together as a team.
