Seeing Thunder's confident face once more after all of these reminded Everest of why she had loved him, before she met Marshall through the same unfortunate circumstances that led to her meeting Thunder, Snow and all of the other dogs Ruben and Butch captured, most of them not surviving what happened.
"Everest it's nice to see you in person again after all of these years! And you're Marshall, right? Snow told me how impressed he was with how both of you did at the firing range." Thunder asked, setting his gaze onto the Dalmatian in front of him.
"Th-Thanks, and that's right, I'm Marshall, Everest's boyfriend, I was captured by Ruben and Butch around a year after Ev was, once we both escaped we were forced to split up until we reunited by sheer luck years ago." Marshall said as he reintroduced who he is, his look going over to Everest while both pups were in their gear.
"I see, well we're all here because of what Ruben, Butch and all of their allies put the four of us through, and the pups who have died by their hands. Our first mission is at Barkingburg, because as you two know Marshall and Everest, their last major plan before the assault on City Hall happened at Barkingburg which involved both of you. We don't know why they're targeting the two of you and not anyone else, but right now that doesn't matter." Thunder explained, seeing how much attention Marshall and Everest were giving him and Snow as they spoke as Thunder glanced over to Snow.
"And that reminds me, both of you will be getting custom gear like what me and Thunder have, we'll be sending the spare gear both of you are wearing up to a nearby painter who will get everything sorted with the colors for your armor and weapons, and we'll get new visors for the helmets to make everything up to scratch and looking good. It isn't necessary, but me and Thunder have always tried to look good while taking the fight to Ruben and Butch and keeping our gear up to scratch. Now then, what colors should we use for each set of armor and weapons?" Snow continued from where Thunder left off, each pup taking a moment to answer.
Everest was the first one to speak, having an important question in mind before she got to picking the colors for her armor and weaponry. "So Thunder, Snow, should we use call signs when we're out there? I'm just thinking if we silently leave the Paw Patrol to go and take the fight to those monsters who call themselves human, our team will go looking for us and if they hear someone saying our name over voice communications, that could lead to a lot of problems I don't want to imagine right now."
Snow and Thunder took a moment to think about this, it made sense, neither of them had ever used call signs due to it being unnecessary, but not using call signs could make problems in the future for Marshall and Everest if they encounter the rest of the Paw Patrol during a mission.
"I think that's a good idea Everest, neither of us thought about that but it would be helpful in case of. What were you thinking of calling yourself over the radio?"
Everest took a moment to consider this, what if she went with something related to her job on the Paw Patrol with winter and mountain rescues like Avalanche? "Maybe if I went with Avalanche, someone on the Paw Patrol would recognize my voice and connect the dots about my call sign to my real name, which would lead to the exact same problems." Everest thought to herself, finally coming up with one she liked.
"How about Hurricane as a call sign?" Everest said, getting Marshall, Thunder and Snow to look over at her.
Snow and Thunder continued to look at Everest in her armor, and then at each other before nodding in agreement. "Both of us think that sounds like a good one Everest, now that we have one call sign set, Marshall what do you want yours to be?" Thunder and Snow both asked a similar question to Marshall with different wording, and Marshall began to consider this as well.
