The automatic doors to the lookout couldn't open fast enough for Chase right now, he had to deliver this news that he had discovered to Ryder, Rebecca and the other pups. Marshall and Everest could be anywhere with a multiple hour head start, especially if they left in the dead of night but despite everything, Chase had confidence that they were safe and would be found.
But it all started right here at the lookout as the automatic doors finally opened and Chase barged through, his mind too focused on telling the team what he had discovered to care about the noise he was making.
As Chase ran into the living room, he saw Ryder, Rebecca and the other pups looking at him, concerned expressions in all of their faces as Ryder spoke.
"Is everything okay, Chase? You look panicked in a way." Ryder observed as the other pups agreed and shared similar concern.
"I'm sorry for being blunt everyone, but right now everything isn't okay. When I went to wake up Marshall and Everest, I discovered their pup tags on the floors of their pup houses, with their collars and both of them being nowhere to be seen."
Immediately as Chase said this, Ryder began to sweat. It dripped down his face and back as panic set in immediately.
"C-Chase, are you sure about what y-you said? I trust you, but I... I don't know where to start looking for them if they're missing and their tags are still at the lookout." Ryder admitted, sweat still filling his vision.
"Ryder, I'm not particularly certain where we should start looking either, but I think we should focus on Barkingburg and Adventure City and see how they can help us. If we start there, we can let the princess and her family know exactly how things are going." Chase admitted, seeing the other pups look down in sadness at the situation unfolding in front of them.
"In any case, thank you for telling us Chase. And don't worry everyone, we will find Marshall and Everest! I need to go get something but Paw Patrol is on a roll!" Ryder called out, trying to raise the spirits of the group at the lookout as he looked to the pups as they got into their usual mission formation.
"Chase, it's time to teach the pups how to handle firearms. Since Marshall and Everest are missing, and Ruben and Butch remain at large, we have been putting it off for too long. A firing range is located in the lookout basement, after the armor sets." Ryder said while Chase nodded and began leading the other pups to the elevator. Ryder turned his attention to Rebecca as the elevator doors opened and continued speaking. "And Rebecca, could you come with me to the lookout basement as well? We need to create a plan of action so we can find Marshall and Everest." Ryder asked, hoping Rebecca would be able to help him out with this.
With barely a glance, Rebecca looked over to Ryder and gave him a determined look, avoiding eye contact with the young leader of the Paw Patrol. "My vow when I became a therapist was to always do everything possible to ensure the safety of any animal I ever encountered, regardless of whether they were clients of mine or not." she said, a slight smile forming on Ryder's face as he heard this, it gave him confidence in an admittedly bleak situation.
"I appreciate that Rebecca, let's get down there and get the plans made. Hope you don't mind the sound of gunfire. Like I said, Chase will be training the other pups with firearms so we can all stay safe during this search and rescue mission." Ryder replied, the elevator doors opening in front of them as the elevator came back up from the lookout basement, only none of the pups came back up as a series of barks were heard, followed by gunfire.

Lookout - Firing Range 8:20 AMAs the elevator came to a stop in the lookout basement, a ding filled the air as the six pups walked out, taking in the area around them as they usually don't come down to the basement of the lookout that often. The last time Rubble, Rocky, Skye and Zuma had all been down here was when they put the Mighty Meteor away, with Tracker having never come down here. Chase had come down here only recently to speak with Ryder about his gear and getting it upgraded, which ended up happening nearly right before the attack on City Hall.
