Everest was surprised, but extremely happy to see Marshall fired up like this at the Barkingburg General Hospital, especially after what had been happening recently. The two of them thought that their happy fun having selves died years ago when everything happened to them and were replaced by the pups they were now. Sure they had incredible memories with their friends in the Paw Patrol, and hoped to make new ones with not only the Paw Patrol, but also the team they're with right now.

Unfortunately, they can't head back to Adventure Bay yet. It's far too risky to head back to their home town right now with Ruben, Butch and Sweetie alive and fighting, because they'd be able to follow them back and everything they wanted to accomplish by taking the fight to them would all go down the drain, and fast.

But right now, Marshall had one thing on his mind. "I need to get in there and save everyone and everypup I can. I'm fired up!" Marshall thought to himself as Odin and Everest nodded towards him and sat down near the entrance to the hospital, confident looks on their faces as they non verbally told Marshall that they would wait here for them, and that he should go help everyone in the hospital.

But before Marshall went in, Marshall turned over to Odin and tilted his head. "Before I go in, what's a combat medic Odin? You said the hospital needed one, but I'm only an EMT." Marshall asked, he had no doubts about the ability and skill he possessed as an EMT, but were those qualifications what this hospital needed right now?

"Flame, a combat medic is a medical professional in a combat scenario or post combat situation. For this hospital, the fact that they requested one means something extremely bad has happened more likely than not." Odin explained, using the knowledge he had gathered over the many years he's been in the force up to now to explain this to Marshall as best as he could.

"I will be. Odin, stay with Hurricane. I'll be out as soon as my job here is done." Marshall said as he kept his helmet's visor down and barked, swapping it to a medical interface unintentionally.

Instead of how many bullets were left in the chamber of a weapon he was using being on the left of his visor, he saw a built in X ray and when he looked at Hurricane, he was able to see the inside of her body, just like a normal X ray. Other vital signs like breathing, pulse rate and blood pressure were also monitored with the visor.

With that, Everest and Odin barked in joy as Marshall jumped forward into the hospital, determined to help everyone that he could in this hospital.

"So, how long have you known Flame Hurricane? You two seem to have a very close bond." Odin asked as Marshall disappeared with the entrance into the hospital closing behind him.

"Ever since the two of us were pups, basically. We met when he was captured by Ruben and Butch and put into the same facility that I was in. By that point, I had already been in there for a year." Everest sighed for a moment as she continued, "After around a year of both of us being there and friends of mine like Thunder and Snow escaping, both of us escaped. Flame ended up trying to drown himself and ended up in Adventure Bay or City, while I hitched a ride to my old home, the South Pole. We didn't see each other again for a while after that, but we eventually reunited, and I'll be honest, that day was the happiest I've ever been." Everest said as she smiled, not at the events that led to her and Marshall meeting, as those were extremely traumatic for both of them due to Ruben and Butch, but of course, some good came out of it, being a clear silver lining in the cloudy skies that represented their pasts, showing a clear path to clearer skies that they hoped were in their future.

"I see Hurricane. It definitely seems like some good came out of being captured by Ruben and Butch, indirectly of course. From my perspective, both of your lives would be far better if none of that had happened, but would the two of you have met? At that point, it's just a huge what if, you know?" Odin said out loud to Everest, who he still only knew as Hurricane.
