The doors to the island facility opened up as Marshall and Everest watched, taking in the details they could see of the interior of the facility.

From what both of them could see, there was a firing range, an elevator and a reinforced iron door. There was also a familiar golden retriever from Marshall and Everest's last visit to this base at the firing range, firing a suppressed M4 carbine at human shaped practice targets, aiming at head level the entire time while their dark blue, black and white armor reflected the sunlight off of it. The visor on the helmet was also a distinct light blue.

But as the two pups looked around, Thunder's voice came across the mic once more, instructing the two pups about what to do. "When you're ready, come find me on the top floor and I'll call Snow so we can discuss our plans. Until then, feel free to take your time exploring our temporary base and getting yourself at home around here." Thunder said over the microphone before signing off to allow Marshall and Everest to explore the temporary base for a little while without interruption.

The first thing they saw that stood out that they wanted to check out was the firing range with Snow training his aim.

Walking over, Marshall saw two sets of uncolored armor and two pup packs on the wall and decided to leave one for Everest as he geared up.

"Hey Ev, we've got gear here. Let's give this a shot now that we're committed to this." Marshall said, getting Everest's attention as she walked over.

Immediately, Snow stopped firing his rifle and looked over to the two pups as they geared up. "Oh hey you two, feel free to give this firing range a try. You'll need to be confident in your proficiency with firearms so we're all ready for our next plan."

As Snow spoke, Marshall had geared up with Everest beginning to put the other set of armor on.

"So, how do these work? Do we just bark out for the rifle?" Marshall wondered, asking Snow as he did. He assumed the pup pack tech here was similar to the ones they used at the Paw Patrol, but how did Thunder and Snow know how to build them?

"That's right, just do a simple bark and ask for the weapon you need. The weapon will then come out of the pup pack and you can bark to shoot, and holster the weapon when it's out. Reloading is done by barking out and allowing the pup pack to reload the weapon like it's programmed to, unfortunately without thumbs we can't do it manually as dogs." Snow explained, trying to be as clear as possible.

"I think that makes sense. I'll give bringing the rifle out a try." Marshall said confidently, Snow's explanation made sense and confirmed his suspicion that these pup packs were similar to the ones they used at the Paw Patrol.

"Woof! Rifle!" Marshall barked out, locking his eyes onto the practice targets in front of him.

Immediately, a rifle similar to the one he saw Snow using popped out of the pup pack, and the visor on the helmet he was wearing thanks to the armor lit up with information that made no sense to Marshall initially.

"Marshall, Everest, the visors on our armor sets are equipped with tactical information for ease of use. Things like how much ammo is remaining in the magazine, the weapon being used, where you're aiming as well as how far away the target is are all displayed, and last but certainly not least for now, each helmet is equipped with a built in microphone, and you'll see who's speaking on the heads up display from the visor." Snow explained, trying to help Marshall and Everest, who was now geared up as well, make sense of their equipment before they began using the rifles. "One final thing, for the shooting challenge in the firing range here, you only get one magazine worth of ammo. The challenge ends when you run out of ammo, at which point, we'll check how many of the thirty bullets hit and how many targets were hit."
