(S2-C1) Taking Action

Everest jumped into her snowcat and began driving, knowing the destination she had in mind. She was planning to get back to Captain Turbot so he could take her back to the island Thunder and Snow were at.

"Marshy, stay strong... I'll be back soon." Everest thought to herself, looking behind herself as she drove to see the clinic getting slightly smaller as she drove away.

But Everest knew what she had to do know, get in contact with Thunder and Snow again, speak to Rebecca and have the first initial session with Marshall, and then go from there.

"No matter what though, I'm going out with Thunder and Snow and taking the fight to Ruben, Butch and their allies. I just hope Marshall wants to take the fight to them as well." Everest knew it was Marshall's choice if he wanted to take the fight to them with her, but she really hoped that he would want to.

              Adventure Bay - Jungle Base

Ruben and Butch finally made it back to their base, both of them injured and bleeding quite a bit. They had succeeded mostly with luring the Paw Patrol out to City Hall, but they didn't anticipate that the bomb they stole from the bomb squad they killed would be a training one, which was an oversight.

Opening the door to the base up, they saw the same base that was falling apart inside and out in front of them, but their new gear had been set up.

"Sh-Shit, that could've gone better, ain't that right Ruben?" Butch croaked out, resting his head on the moldy couch in front of the old TV they had set up.

"Y-Yeah it really could've gone better. Let's just get back in contact with that pup, okay?"

Acknowledging this, Butch grabbed his radio and threw it to Ruben, who caught it and got back in contact with the pup.

"S, this is Ruben. How are things progressing on Operation: Nightmare Scenario and the plan to attack the lookout?"

Radio static was heard for a few moments before the voice came back with a slight hiccup. "Not great. My owner is trying to stop me from getting to Adventure City to get in contact with your boss. Outside of that, I'm also calling off the lookout attack plan for now to focus resources on Operation: Nightmare Scenario."

This angered Ruben a bit, who stomped his foot into the wooden floor of the base. "And what makes you think attacking the Mutt Patrol's base would be resource intensive? We did it once before and almost captured both targets. Surely that makes it worth it."

Ruben caught his breath a bit and clutched his leg as he heard the pup respond. "Well that's the thing, you two almost captured MRL and EVT, but you both failed. I had to assist your stupid Barkingburg plan to get them captured at a later point, only for them to escape because Mayor Humdinger is incompetent."

"Agreed, we never should've started a partnership with that fool. He ruined the entire plan." Butch remarked, cutting into the transmission Ruben and this pup were having.

"In any case, we'll talk soon Ruben and Butch. Do not disappoint the boss again or there will be consequences." The pup said, cutting the transmission as they did.

                   Adventure Bay - Docks

Captain Turbot had been relaxing on the docks and feeding the local aquatic life when he suddenly heard an engine in the distance and getting closer, that was pretty normal but he couldn't help but wonder who it was.

It would quickly be revealed to be Everest, who parked her snowcat on the road and ran across the beach, getting to the docks fairly quickly, with sand getting stuck on her paws as she ran across the beach, running past Zuma who was already on lifeguard duties.
