(S3-C3) Stains of Blood

The Whispers stayed inside of the lookout as they breathed lightly, hearing the Paw Patroller park in front of the lookout, but there was another sound in the distance that put the seven of them on high alert.

"Snow, Scarlet. Go and get set up on the balcony of the lookout. The Cobalt Order are almost here." Thunder said as the Golden Retriever and Beagle nodded and ran over to the elevator.

At the same time, Marshall, Everest and Thunder ran outside, prepared to meet the Paw Patrol head on and tell them what was going on. This would also be the first time Everest has seen the Paw Patrol since she left Adventure Bay to fight alongside the Whispers.

Odin and Zeus stayed inside of the lookout on the first floor, preparing to rush outside if anything went wrong as Odin barked his flash bang launcher out of his pup pack, Zeus barking his crossbow out as he took a deep breath. He wasn't confident in his ability with a weapon, but he knew there was no room to run or hide anymore. It's time to fight.

The elevator rose through the lookout as Ryder and the other pups walked out of the Paw Patroller, with Rebecca following close behind as a strange sound began to fill the air around them, it almost sounded like a marching of some kind, and it immediately put everyone near and inside of the lookout on high alert.

"Okay, Hurricane and Flame, I need the two of you to talk to the Paw Patrol and explain why we're here." Thunder said as he barked to have his SMG reloaded while standing outside, seeing the pups, Ryder and Rebecca walk up to the group of three, confused looks on their faces.

"Copy that, Thunder." Everest said as she sat down next to Marshall, looking at their teammates from the Paw Patrol as they both took deep breaths.

"Aren't you Flame? We saw you in Barkingburg. Why are you and your team at our lookout in Adventure Bay?" Ryder asked, almost interrogating Marshall as the Dalmatian took multiple deep breaths, trying to keep his composure that was slowly but surely slipping away from him with each and every time he looked at his teammates.

"I am Flame. We're here to stop something called Operation: Nightmare Scenario. We found details of it during a raid on a puppy mill that our task force of seven was assigned to do. We found that the Cobalt Order, the organization behind everything, is targeting the lookout for a unknown reason; and this all links back to this Operation: Nightmare Scenario somehow. Do you all have any idea what this could be? Flame explained as he barked his rifle out to reload the weapon.

Chase and the others could only watch the Dalmatian in confusion, what was he walking about? They had never heard of this Operation: Nightmare Scenario that they were talking about, and despite having similar appearances to Marshall, in their heads, there was no way that this was Marshall.

After all, raids on puppy mills? Task forces? Not immediately identifying himself as Marshall when speaking to the pups or Ryder, instead as Flame. There was just simply no way that this pup was Marshall, after all there are a lot of Dalmatians with blue eyes out there, it was all a coincidence, just like with the Husky that was next to him.

They're police officers in an elite task force, not their missing friends. Marshall and Everest are still out there somewhere, that much they were sure of in their own minds, but they weren't here at the lookout.

Nevertheless, even with that disappointing revelation, the team still had to rest up at the lookout to go out there again. Next time they go out for their search was planned to be tomorrow, but they just wanted Marshall and Everest to both be home, and for all of this anarchy to be over and done with.

"Are all of you okay? Each and every one of you seemed to be spaced out." Hurricane inquired as each and every member of the Paw Patrol snapped back into reality, regaining their focus as the sounds of marching they had all heard earlier grew louder.
