Note: I DO NOT OWN TWISTED WONDERLAND: DISNEY!
Chapter 21: Legend of the Seven!
----------------------
"Like Cater just said, there are seven dorms each emulating one of the Great Seven..." Trey proceeds to explain about each of the dorms and their unique founding "deities".
I can feel my brain overheating at the huge amount of information. It certainly doesn't help that my scraped knees from the cafeteria fight have started to sting.
But just as we have finally found some new "friends", I do not want to draw attention to my wound. So instead, I just comment about Trey's description of the dorms: "I don't think that I can remember them all. There are so many..." From the corner of my eye, I can see Grim nodding, as he complains, "Their names are too long! No way I'm gonna remember all of that!"
"Ahaha! It's just to give you a rough idea. You'll remember them eventually," Cater reassures us.
"Which dorm you enter is based on the judgement of the Dark Mirror when it looks into your soul during the entrance ceremony..." Trey adds. The students are essentially assigned to the dorms based on the compatibility between their characteristics and the quirks of the deities.
Deuce, giving them a puzzled look, asks, "What do you mean by that?"
"For example..." Trey scans around the cafeteria for a moment before gesturing at a guy sitting two tables behind us, by moving his thumb over his shoulder: "Take a look over there at that dude."
We take turns to peek at the guy. I have to admit, this guy was probably one of the tallest students I've seen so far. He has semi-long silver-grey hair, narrow piercing ember-coloured eyes, and tan skin. With his uppity turned-up nose and his turned-down lips, he wore a permanent scowl on his face. He wore a primitive string necklace with a "tooth" pendant, an unbuttoned black uniform jacket with a yellow armband that reveals a white dress shirt, and a khaki-green undershirt underneath it. But most significant of all are his animal features: a pair of fluffy wolf ears with little patches of dark grey at the tip of his ears sticking out from his tousled grey hair and his long white bushy tail with darkened ends.
"Wolf ears and a tail!?" I blurt out in shock.
"That rugged look is Savanaclaw — the dorm that is founded on the fortitude of the King of beasts," Trey replies. "In that dorm, there are a lot of people who are good at sports and martial arts. They're the buff and gruff big bro types."
This "people-watching" game has piqued Grim's interest: "Then what about that guy with the grey and lavender armband?"
With his thin silver-rimmed glasses, this student has a scholarly air, which marks him out as a direct opposite of the Savanaclaw student. He has silvery-blue hair with a strand extending longer on the left side of his face than the right. His eyes are of the same silvery-blue colour as his hair and his glasses. The beauty mark below his lip on the left side of his face gives him a genteel look.
"He's from Octavinelle— a dorm that is founded on the benevolence of the Sea witch," Trey answers before turning his gaze towards the table in front of us.
"At the table in front of us, the guys with the dark red and yellow are from Scarabia — the dorm that is founded on the deliberation of the Sorcerer of the sand."
The duo in front of us are not wearing anything that resembles the school uniform that we have witnessed so far. One of them has greyish white hair tucked into a pale yellow half-turban that is tied back in a sash and decorated with two little feathers. A pair of long earrings which have a swirl pattern which dangle from his earlobes.
