Note: I DO NOT OWN TWISTED WONDERLAND: DISNEY!
Chapter 34: Sandwich showdown!
----------------------
I can hear the wind. This thought floats through my mind, as I am standing on the side of a high mountain. From a little distance away, a male lion is striding up the mountain. He is projecting a powerful leader-like aura; accompanying the lion was a monkey. Once the pair reaches the top of the mountain, a lioness joins them. For some reason, the monkey thrusts their cub up towards the skies. At the same time, the lion unleashes a deafening roar that resounds through the land.
Is this some sort of tradition?
Suddenly, the setting morphs into a forest with towering oak trees. Now I am lying in a coffin — something about it seems familiar. Through a gap that is closing, I can still feel the howling wind rippling across my skin. Over the coffin, I can discern a human figure dressed in a long hooded dress enshrouding the body. I can't tell whether it is a man or a woman; the only thing I could be sure of was the presence of a wicked grin.
Then all of a sudden, my vision is flooded with light.
I blink my eyes several times and realise that I'm back in the dorm room. Well, I didn't think I would have a dream after the day of the sleepover. At least, this time nothing bad seemed to have happened... But what was that roar?"
I turn to look at Grim. "Gawr~...why you little..." mutters Grim in his sleep, as he brushes his lips with his little paws.
I try my best not to laugh at Grim, all curled up in his sleep. Aww, he looks so sweet — the unsuspecting person may almost be mistaken into thinking that Grim is an adorable little pet needing protection. It is super hard to stay quiet at the sight of Grim happily kneading the air with his paws and mumbling sleepily, with the spit of his saliva glistening on his whiskers: "Nngonya~ How's that? Do you understand the power of the Great Grim?"
T-that's some sleeptalking!
"I showed that tyrant, Riddle, who's boss~" yells Grim. He shouts so loudly that he chokes on his saliva, which makes him gasp awake: "Ffgah!? What? The Ramshackle Dorm?" A pout of disappointment spreads across his face.
"It was only a dream... I thought I'd knock Riddle out and become the strongest wizard ever. So disappointing," utters Grim, shaking his head from side to side.
"Well, we've really been through a lot together," I state before sitting up from the bed.
Grim's mood perks up: "Okay! Time to move along... Another day closer to becoming a great wizard! Y'know~" he cheers.
"That's the spirit! Oh yeah, by the way, Grim, when school's, we've got to go to start our first shift to help out in Mr. S's shop," I inform Grim.
"Wha? Why?" asks Grim groggily.
I am gathering my uniform for the day, while reminding him: "Because we need the money in order to pay for necessary things."
"Fine, but remember, I'm only doing this because we need the money to buy food," he replies.
A big breath! I'm ready for the day.

"Ugh~ Mr. Trein has to be using some sort of spell to put me to sleep. No matter how hard I resist, I lose to drowsiness!" groans Grim, as we all walk towards the cafeteria. Deuce and Ace are walking alongside us.
"You fall asleep five minutes in. I wouldn't call that 'resistance,'" comments Deuce. This puts a smirk on Ace's face, as he makes his way to the food stalls: "Lunchtime, what should I have today~ hmm? The cafeteria is extra crowded today."
