"Alright brats you know the drill do this packet while I take a nap." Their teacher said as he dropped a stack of packets on top of an empty desk in the front of the room before going behind his desk and stepping inside of his yellow sleeping bag.

All the kids in the class quickly grabbed a packet before dividing there selfs into their respected friend groups where they would spend the majority of class time talking to one another than working on the packet.

"Thanks for watching Pino!" Rody said to Deku who was handing him the bird. "You know you have other friends that can watch her for you right." Deku told him. "I know, but I trust my boyfriend way more." Rody teased as he placed the bird on his shoulder. Deku just rolled his eyes and shook his head at the boy's comment.

"Also Toga likes you." Rody began to say and covered Pino's ears with his hand. "I'm scared if I leave Pino with anyone else she'll just try and steal her and eat her." Rody whispered to the greenette. The two boys then flinched when they heard the sound of paper hitting the table.

"Are you two talking shit about my girlfriend?" A short-haired brunette with round brown eyes asked the two with an angered smile on her face. "I-I didn't say anything." Deku said as he raised his hands up in defense before grabbing one of the packets now on the table.

"Uraraka listen." Rody began to say to the girl now sitting next to him. "She's not going to eat your bird!" Uraraka said already knowing what the boy was about to say to her. Having heard this Pino started to chirp frantically.

"Don't just say that in front of her!" Rody yelled as he quickly tried to calm down his pet. "And besides you don't know that she won't eat her! She killed a bird when she was younger who's to say she won't do it again, huh!?" Rody argued back only getting an eye roll in return from the brunette. "She was five! And she didn't even kill the bird she found it like that!" Uraraka said defensively. "It was still traumatizing!" Rody snapped back at the girl.

While this argument was going on another conversation was happening at the other end of the table. "Oh, guys we should go to the cages tomorrow!" Denki suggested to the group. "Why do you want to go to the cages?" Mina questioned the boy as she was looking at her nails and filing them down. "Tryouts are coming up." He simply said.

"Are you actually thinking about trying out this year?" Shinsou raised his eyebrow and questioned. "And give up being our mascot!? Pfft, hell no!" Denki remarked. "Then why the fuck do you want to go?" Shinsou asked. "Because I'm a great friend that just wants his friends to be ready for baseball season and nail their tryouts." Denki explained as he placed his hand on his heart and smiled kindly at his friends.

Shinsou just stared at the blonde blinking at him not believing a word he had just said. "He definitely just wants to practice his batting to impress Jirou." Mina said before blowing on her nail. "Shut up!" Denki exclaimed while his face flushed red from embarrassment.

"Denki, you've been dating her for years you don't need to impress her anymore." Shinsou told the boy. "Uh, yes I do! Do you know how talented she is!? She is a goddess! And I, am nothing but a mere peasant." Denki said dramatically as he leaned back in his seat and placed the back of his hand on his forehead. Shinsou and Mina just laughed softly and rolled their eyes at the teen.

"Still, going to the batting cages isn't a bad idea. I could use the practice too." Mina said as she examined her nails. "Yeah, I'm down." Shinsou nodded his head in agreement before taking out his dab pen and taking a hit. "Sweet! Hey, Deku you're coming with us right?" Denki asked the greenette actually working on his packet.

"Huh? Oh, I can't." Deku said causing everyone to stop what they were doing and look at him. "You can't?" Denki questioned and Deku just nodded his head. "Bestie if you don't have enough money I don't mind paying for you. I pay for Uraraka's broke-ass like all the time." Mina said completely ignoring the death glare the brunette was now giving to her.
